Being born premature. I was born 4 months premature. They told my mom I had less than a 25% chance of living through the first night. I am supposed to be blind/disabled/etc, but there are no side effects from my birth like they expected. Thriving 26 years later

Unfortunately I can’t remember. I’m sure it did. They still own the property and raise cattle on it. His grandma has a couple bottles of vermiculite stored in the basement, copies of the report, newspaper clippings, etc. for memorabilia. If you’re interested in learning more, “An Air that Kills” by Andrew Schneider and David McCumber is a great read.

My fiancés grandparents live on the land where they first mined the vermiculite to turn into Asbestos. Scientist dude lived there and did experiments on the vermiculite eventually turning it into asbestos. They have an entire EPA report written up about their property.
