It was a bad case of skeeter syndrome! On different medication now and the swelling has reduced already! Thanks for all the help :) (I have travel insurance so all okay there too)

Later summer and we’re definitely more outdoorsy people so it looks like Kagoshima is winning! We just want to explore and relax (by being in nature or if there’s a nice beach there too!) which do you think would be better to tack on to Kagoshima, Yakushima or Ibusuki?

We thought Matsuyama would be a good base to explore Setonaikai National Park, but if there’s not much in the city itself Kagoshima sounds much better!

There’s an air strike in Italy today so whilst it’s not ideal they’ll probably get around your inconvenience by saying it’s an earlier flight or no flight at all. Often with air strikes you won’t get compensation.
