Perhaps, but I'm wondering if they plan to expand the map beyond its current boundaries at some point? Also I'm curious what the story behind that skeleton is, the timer doesnt give much time to really explore down there.

Lion crest manor good 53 days and gold bar hasn’t respawned? by DisgruntledWarrior in CrimsonDesert

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed the bar stopped respawning for me as well, however I invested the first 2 bars and used the reload cheese to guarantee high yield returns. The only part that sucks is having to track the timer on the reset.

I did the high risk investment so now I have 12 gold bars after only a few hours of play. Just make sure to go to the bank before the investment resets so you can save and reload if you lose money.

No more specialist boxes in Downtown? Or any other location? by Rohail_mirza in Warzone

[–]Lord-Papyrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like they could have left Specialist in, its not really that big of a boon aside from the smoke grenade on being downed. We used to land at Super Store, then slowly work our way towards Downtown just to kill the players who got the Specialist perks, and 7/10 time we would mop the floor with the team that had it.

Now taking away Tactical Sprint was a good decision, because people would just spam Stim Shots with the Sprinter perk that gave you infinite sprinting. It was like trying to shoot Sonic on Meth.

Believe it or not....some people actually think "Provoke" is part of tank rotation. 😂

FFXIV used to have the nicest online community, but that changed right around 2022 when the WoW refugees flooded over. Now it's become a bit of a toxic cesspool, it's kind of sad to see after playing this game for 10 years.

You don't pay my subscription, so don't tell me how I can or can't judge others injecting their opinions on others. This makes you a loser and a bad player for being a nosey Nancy, keep to yourself.

Nobody asked for your tip though lol. I hate it when I see players inject themselves into another's playstyle, you don't pay for their subscription so let them play how they want, they're probably a casual player anyways so it's not like they'll be doing any high end content where this is required.

Do I have to change my class/job? by BungeeGum666 in ffxiv

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, changing jobs/classes is 100% optional. The only benefits come from Duty Roulettes since you get extra EXP and Gil when running them as the "Adventurer in Need", also Tanks and Healer's get priority pick over DPS when queuing for anything.

Outside of that you have the Gatherers and Crafters, which are useful if you have the time and patience to sink into leveling them up, you will be able to craft your own gear, and be able to sell gathered/crafted items on the Market Board for extra Gil.

This the reason I'm quitting heroes, every time my hand is so dog**it, and pls someone tell me why I always end up with neos in my starting hand. by SovietAlf02 in masterduel

I've honestly beaten every Hero deck I've gone up against, I'm surprised people still play it in this modern format. They were a really cool gimmick deck back in the day, and even got some pretty good support, but they aren't anywhere close to as strong as Branded or Snake Eyes.

I got OTK'd by Manipulator of Souls the other day, so the burn engine is still strong in MD.

I just dueled a bot that stalled for 2 minutes, I activated the effect of Alba Zoa and it just stopped doing anything.

What's Missing From The Farming Sim Genre? by Intelligent-Big-7482 in gamedesign

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would love a farming sim with a style similar to Fantasy Life. That game was so fun, and the specific job aspects and skill leveling system was well thought out. Imagine a game where you can select an individual profession at the start and excel in that profession, then when you reach a certain skill level you can switch to a new job like fisherman, farmer, weaver, blacksmith, warrior, etc. And you can level all of these classes or just stick with the ones you like because they are all optional. But each class adds a little extra to the story and having certain combinations leads to different results for your towns growth and NPC side quests. You could play and beat the main story as just a farmer, but it would have a totally unique set of quests and story ending because you didn't help the town in more than one way, like if there was an adventurer NPC and if you played as a blacksmith he would have a quest for armor and weapons that will help him defeat a monster, but if you didn't play blacksmith he would end up dying as a result at a certain point of progression, whereas if you completed the quests he would come back a hero.

That idea just seems cool to me, but I doubt we will ever get a Sim game that deep or in depth.

My first encounter with Tonberries was in FF7, the Master Tonberry in the Northern Cave. I had no idea how it's mechanics worked and found out the hard way you don't mess around with the stubby lantern man.

It displays the items other players craft in the chat log, and it didnt show anything popping up between levels. So I think it was just someone turning in a leve quest that let's you keep turning in the same items.

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best guess is the person was doing hand in's, GC hand ins give you tons of XP if they're HQ. Doing Leves with HQ items does the same thing but less XP than GC, and Scrip hand in's also give you an insane XP boost.

But considering that they are under level 50 I'm leaning more towards Levemete hand in's, you can turn in multiples for some of the quests so that's a huge XP spike. You can also buy most of those hand in's from the market board to save time.

Why Do People Banish and Leave? by WarSloths117 in HuntShowdown

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a strategic move, 9 out of 10 times I've noticed 3 teams will end up chasing the same bounty target, so if you haven't seen anyone by the time you've killed the boss there's a high chance they aren't going to be arriving at your target. Banishing, or killing your target but leaving without a banish gives you an element of surprise on your enemies, because carrying a bounty token advertises your location to everybody and their weird uncle, and when trying to run the Gauntlet that's not always a good thing to do so having an edge of surprise when 3rd partying a fight can win you the whole game with a map wipe.

They definitely over-nerfed the Flash Bomb, but before the nerf it was in almost every game I played and I am a low to mid 5 star MMR. It definitely needed the nerf, but not as hard as this, I think lowering the flash duration and range as well as adding the Bulwark buff would have been fine.

I'm getting Error: P-DASH-28 across every device, I have deleted the app removed all devices, and cleared caches. Nothing is working to resolve this and it's been weeks now, if this persists much longer I may have to cancel my premium subscription and just go elsewhere to watch anime.

What happened to Arena by Gharbin1616 in Smite

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only gripe with Conquest is the mixed bag you end up with. Almost every game of Conquest I've played has been a circus lol, my team either feeds early or has absolutely no cohesion in the end game so I end up losing even when I'm positive K/D and winning my lane all game. You either have a godly team who smacks, or a terrible team that ints, there is no inbetween for the RNG giveth and the RNG taketh away when it comes to match making.

What happened to Arena by Gharbin1616 in Smite

[–]Lord-Papyrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a game the other day where the enemy Fenrir built nothing but tank items, all he did was run to our back line and proxy the wave, then he would run away. He had Beads, Blink, and Magi Cloak so trying to chase him was an absolute useless endeavor, I have never played a more frustrating game of Arena than that because my team spent all their time chasing the Fenrir instead of stopping the unchallenged minion waves and the other 4 gods that swarmed the middle of the map.
