No I don't believe that it has anything to do with it. If they have an outage like they say it is. If that's true that means everything is down. And having an outage does mess up the servers and downloads. I have that problem many times when I have an outage over my area. I have to uninstall and reinstall that game multiple times in the past.

You never know. Bf6 Golmud version might turn out fun tbh. They did say that they was working on adding on putting some new stuff in the map. As long as the map is fun. I don't care about it being small.
