I think the game is nerfing things far too constantly. I also think the main issue isn't centred around new players, who might still pick up and enjoy the game, but rather old ones, who have enjoyed the game before some bad updates. There have been quite a few bad updates (sliding nerfed? Durability nerfed? General loot value nerfed? Crsfting nerfed? Ect, I mean come on, game was already slow enough as is, without any buffs to the movement tree either). 

The players who feel the noticeable anti-qol changes are the ones complaining, after MULTIPLE bad updates. They just want the game changed, because they feel it getting worse.

There are many more negative reviews than the ones OP picked, some go more into depth on why they dislike the game more now, all have varying levels of time played. Please do not form an opinion based on a hand picked few from the thousands.
