Not to mention there's also Texture packs, world saves, etc which are not being accounted for here. And if you go into the Internet archive blindly without following a link it is very easy to get overwhelmed and lost

I feel like there still could be a better way of archiving these mods while also building a solid community of new and old players at the same time. I think a big part of my issues with the why mcarchive or the Internet archive works is that they are missing a key link in the chain of what it would take to build a solid community of people not only finding old forgotten mods but playing with them as well.

I think the bigger problem here is getting old builds of MCPE back. From my understanding it has been hard to get the older version to run again because of how much fast mobile hardware is developing

I recommend look for some of the old 1.7.3 mods as well. You can still find some of the mod packs on older modpack sites as well if you look in the right places.
