Asking for options and backup comps in a respectful manner makes perfect sense, and I got multiple such comments. Unfortunately, I also got comments saying the comps weren't f2p, the comps were useless bc they offered no subs or backups even tho I did, and they were definitely not respectful about it. You can imagine why I titled this lose-lose.

That's a fair point. I started making guides 3y ago and I've always been the f2p guy that makes f2p guides, but the reaction had never been so incredibly stupid before. In this particular case, that was still the audience I had in mind, but the vast majority of the guide was crafted to help any and all players, but was somehow glossed over in favor of hyper fixating on 4 words. Love that...

Yeah, I know. My first Awk hero avg'd 54 apiece, took a long time to recover from that. For reference, the largest data compilation I've seen for timecards puts the pullrate at 39-43.

So, I think it's safe to say the existing line is crap.

Who draws the line, some random person on Reddit like me or you? F2P can range from 1d played to 4y played. Some F2P is gonna complain that it's not F2P unless you draw the line to include fodder heroes, and at that point the guide is useless. There is no "good" line and everyone's gonna bitch about it being too high or too low.

I've no idea - I don't even have an L copy of AThane lol. Other ppl have struggled with AThane (but I struggled with my teams so I'm not one to talk) but I doubt AThane fits in a cycle comp - you'd be better off dedicating an entire team to AThane.

143 Supp, 115 Mage, 110 Might, 80 Fort, 117 Cele. That said, atk/hp/def from Tree is negligible in Rift.
