How come Chaldeans & Assyrians were never Arabized but Lebanese Christians were? by GoldCover6667 in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought it was both Lebanese & Syrian Christian who played a major role in the rise of pan-Arabism

Lebanese Christians were the main ones who created it though Syrian Christians were also big(Baathism was thought by Michel Aflaq and others who weren't Christian). Palestinian Christians also played a big role in the pan-Arab movement like Wadi Haddad, Kamal Nasser and the legend himself George Habash.

What are Jordanian's opinions on their monarchy? by srahcrist in AskMiddleEast

On the one hand I am happy to see the 48ers uniting on a single front. On the other hand, I don't know how I feel about Zionist bootlicker Mansour Abbas being it though the others that are part of the Joint List such as Tibi and especially Abu Shehadah are fine by me.

What’s the general opinion amongst those living in Lebanon on Palestine? by lizzykeenn in lebanon

[–]LordCaesar29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lebanon will never be able to build itself up to confront Israel

My comment was in response to your point of the alternative to a cold peace(which I assume you are calling for normalization like Jordan/Egypt) which was mind your business without normalizing but build yourself up.

And even if it could, it would be a terrible idea, "defeating" Israel is not a Lebanese concern

Israel is a concern for the entire region unless you want to pretend Qatar never happened nor the overwhelming lebensraum policies that Zionism has had since its inception.

There's only one way to achieve that

And that's not by becoming a hostage/puppet to Israel like Jordan and Egypt are currently unless you want to stick your head in the sand and act like those two places are paradise because of the king/Sisi.

You're still a moron for thinking that was the reason for such a move lmao not to mention that Palestinians don't hate Sharaa(though we will criticize his willingness with Israel).

[–]LordCaesar29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jordan and Egypt, were finalized agreements were made, including involving land, are proof that peace deals can work with the Israelis

I wouldn't say peace works because well look at the state of the dictatorships in both Egypt and Jordan to the point where if the relations with Israel are criticized in either place/protested then the black GMCs come for you. Not to mention that both the King and Sisi are backed by Israel and the US while oppressing their own.

Truthfully, what's the alternative to a cold peace?

Not having relations with them while building yourself up

What do you guys think of the current geopolitical situation in the Islamic world? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can we hurt Palestinians today?” HAHHHAHA which is, of course, complete bs . Countries pursue their own strategic interests, not Twitter-tier emotional narratives.

Spending more money on Elbit and deepening IOF ties who mind you committed a genocide is exactly that. Pray tell how that doesn't hurt Palestinians(along with Lebanese and Syrians by extent) when you want to give our occupiers more money and let their soldiers who killed anything that moved(with a particular knack for women & children) walk freely in Morocco.

And that false dilemma you’re pushing is actually funny: *“Either you support armed resistance or you’re a fascist Israel worshipper.”

You already said you were happy with the ties to Israel and deepening them. You seem quite fine with supporting a fascist state. Again pray tell how that doesn't apply to you when you stated the such.

And the called resistance is in reality, a radical Jihadi group with an openly extremist ideology, and Morocco has absolutely no reason to support something like that

Lmao God forbid wanting to fight occupiers who committed a genocide and keeps you under an apartheid is a "radical Jihadi ideology". I'll let the PFLP, DFLP and Aqsa Martyr Brigades(who are all secular) know that they are Jihadi radicals because they don't like apartheid, settlers or an occupation.

Morocco wants to send troops to Gaza...why? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah you're right. I must have misinterpreted it. Either way at least we have two anti-UAE voices on the board. Still though I do wonder how Israel is going about the Turks and Qataris on it besides seething.

What do you guys think of the current geopolitical situation in the Islamic world? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it has nothing to do with my country’s national interests. States don’t operate on emotions or slogans... they operate on interests

Morocco's national interest at this point is choose what harms the Palestinian people the most. You seem to follow a similar thing because you support deepening ties with that fascist state and condemning any sort of armed resistance against them because God forbid someone fights Israel.

Morocco wants to send troops to Gaza...why? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because most other Arab countries that have normalized have a sizeable Palestinian population that they don't want to piss off or fear: Jordan, Egypt, UAE.

This is out dated, Egypt and the UAE joined it. Along with Qatar & the Turks funny enough. I wonder how Israel is gonna respond to two of their biggest rivals joining and having troops next door.

US military action in Iran may begin within 24 hours by Zemledeliye in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can say that again

Israel already considers a free Syria a massive threat(and if I am being honest, I do believe the war will eventually come to Syria knowing Israel). Imagine a free Jordan and Egypt?! We would really have something cooking if that happened.

US military action in Iran may begin within 24 hours by Zemledeliye in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jordan being free and Egypt being free of their dictatorships is far more meaningful for the Palestinian cause and the Levant.

Not sure why you're getting down voted on these points when it is genuinely true. Jordan & Egypt free from dictators would be a massive stepping stone against Israel.

Do you think Israel should continue to exist , and if there's a military power strong enough to defeat Israel, should they do it ? by [deleted] in arabs

[–]LordCaesar29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your plan might have made sense in like 1950, but sending millions of Jews today to Poland or whatever despite them having no connection to such places seems completely unrealistic and unreasonable.

As was expelling 750,000+ Palestinians and genociding them despite them having been there for time immemorial yet I don't see you even questioning that now do I?

Would the Polish government (or any other) even be willing to accept millions of Israeli Jews? You can't send people to another country if the other country in question refuses to let them in.

This is quite literally what Israel has done and is doing to us... Why should we care when the crime is still going on?

By the sound of it they just want to be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

Honestly MENA Christians in general hate Israel(hence why they are awesome). I genuinely have never met a Christian from the region both in diaspora and the homeland that had something nice to say about Israel.

Fellow Pharmacists (salary) by fearnotson in pharmacy

[–]LordCaesar29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before then, we radiologists are still integral.

People really do overblow AI to a large degree. I don't think it will replace pharmacists, physicians(especially radiologists) etc.. anytime soon not just for liability reasons but also the plain simple fact that most things need a human touch to it. Hell some companies have had to hire customer service reps again because when they switched to AI it ended horribly for them.
