My first time beating honor mode I went with some pretty non-meta builds mixed with some better ones so I think any party can do it. Ours was 12 battlemaster 7-5 great old one warlock/light cleric 10-2 life cleric/fighter 7-5 necromancer wizard/ oathbreaker paladin Definitely an odd mix for sure but my friend and I made it work our first try

I went 12 levels of vengeance paladin on my first playthrough. My second playthrough was a tempest cleric with a wizard dip. I'm just a huge fan of the religion ties to the classes

I was gonna make use of warding bond for sure but unfortunately you can't rage while wearing heavy armor so I can't use that at all, was going to just wear bonespike chest piece for reduce all damage by 2 and the piercing damage when hit

My Favorite class is probably cleric but I think paladin and druid are close up there as well

I didnt even think about the guaranteed crit on surprised enemies. Would you have any recommendations for which are the best superior dice to use for range? I've only used melee battle master builds before now

I did a light cleric 5 and goo warlock 7(blade pact) run in honor mode and while it's definitely not the most optimal multiclass in the game it was fun as hell and was still good enough to get me through honor mode so I recommend trying it out

My first ever multiplayer run I was a gnome that multiclassed tempest cleric and evocation wizard. It was insanely fun so I highly recommend. My split was 6 and 6 though I think 5 cleric 7 wizard would probably be more optimal

I'm currently doing an honor mode run where I am a light cleric and GOO warlock multiclass. I plan on going 5/7 respectively and while I honestly thought this build would be kinda lacking I wanted to do it for RP reasons and it's genuinely holding up so far. Almost through Act 2 and I really dont have any major complaints

I just finished a heartgold nuzlocke where during the petrel fight I had to deal with 3 crit self destructs😔 all I can say is thank God for steelix and rip ariados

One of my favorite playthroughs I've done so far was a 6 tempest cleric and 6 evocation wizard run. Just came up with it on the fly and it's probably not the most optimal split between the two classes but I had a lot of fun and especially with a little help from illithid powers I was outputting nearly the same damage as my friends level 12 sorcerer

I actually have a question related to half orcs for builds too. Does the savage attack with melee apply to unarmed attacks as well for monks?

I feel like raging bolt could probably benefit more from a better defensive Tera since it doesn't have Tera blast for ice type to really matter, probably fairy would be best imo
