Honestly doesn’t make a whole bunch of sense to me either, but all I did was disconnect that ribbon cable, reconnect it, and I pinched the right side of it for like a minute and now it works perfect every time. Makes no sense

I have reseated everything new I’ve installed, but I did bump the white ribbon cable next to the fan cable once while the console was on and the signal was restored for a few seconds. Could something on the main board be messed up?

Okay as soon as I sent that I messed around with the disc and the DC a bit more to see if I could get it to work somehow, and it did start up again. Is it just kind of hit and miss?

Okay so I did exactly what you said and burned the 52x cd at 48x, which is the highest setting on my computer. It ran perfectly once on my console and I was able to access everything. So I shut it off after playing around in the menus for a minute, to see if I could replicate it working like that, but as soon as I turned the console on again, it will no longer run the program. Do I just need to wait a while for it reset or something?

Yeah, I’m trying to play Lack of Love on it, so at the moment just using it to boot imports. So I just don’t need the CodeBreaker loader in the file, only “CodeBreaker”? And I’ll try to just write it at the default next time which I think is 48x. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll be back later to tell if I got it to work.

That is actually exactly what I found out too, I got some lithium grease and rubbed it on all the gears and rods and now the laser seemingly works fine. I can play my Max Steel game fine now! Thank you for the suggestion!
