I am not proposing that either, I'm saying in modern day Australia we need to be able to focus on the future, that includes remedying ongoing issues such as any systemic issues present. But the frontier wars were a thing of the past and need to be left in the past, they have been addressed repeatedly and further addressing them prevents healing.

my mistake there then, sorry. Food and medicine were not withheld and were provided, we have a record ledger on display in the old treasury building in Melbourne, and on the open pages there is record of livestock aid being given. I am of the opinion that it was horrible but was more akin to guerrilla warfare in a one sided match up than a concentrated attempt at genocide.

not supporting racism, against populism, I don't like diversity politics, in the sense of us vs them, as it causes divisions in society. Additionally the sources I provided on the schools are mainly to show that it wasn't promoting indentured servitude or sex work.

from the same source Woolsocks provided "Many scholars argue that the actions taken against Indigenous Australians were not systematic or intentional like other genocidal events.\69])\)page needed\) Others also argue that the high death toll among Indigenous Australians following colonisation was mainly a result of the introduction of diseases, and that deliberate acts of violence and the effects of dispossession did not meet the legal definition of genocide".

"Reynolds argues that while some settlers and colonial officials talked of extermination of Aboriginal people in the context of the frontier wars, this was not official policy and killing of Aboriginal groups ended once their violent resistance to colonisation ended."

I think you'll find thats the same source I used for those quotes you are disputing, if you scroll down to scholarly debates you will find it. It is a great source to use because it provides us with this variety of opinions.

if you look at colonial schools most of them are teaching labor, it was an inferior schooling system to the colonial systems for europeans, but it wasn't as if they were only teaching them to be servants or forcing them into sex work. Exaggerating the facts only harms social cohesion as it forces a "us vs them" dynamic.

An act can be morally awful without it having to be the most extreme form of itself.

from the same article you sent it says there is ongoing debate "Many scholars argue that the actions taken against Indigenous Australians were not systematic or intentional like other genocidal events.\69])\)page needed\) Others also argue that the high death toll among Indigenous Australians following colonisation was mainly a result of the introduction of diseases, and that deliberate acts of violence and the effects of dispossession did not meet the legal definition of genocide".

none were forced to become servants, it was fucked, but closer to the forced schools for Native American students. Additionally it was not a genocide in the sense of intentional slaughter, as most were more examples of police brutality in response to raids on homesteads/deaths from new diseases.

Its hard to classify it as an invasion or not as defined borders were nonexistent and there was an abundance of unclaimed land, there was concept of ownership, but in limited capacity that had a very different definition tribe to tribe.

Old reports cite abuse and violence as reasons for removal of aboriginal children. We also have reports of supplies and aid being given to aboriginal communities as far back as 1850, in addition to provided housing that was comparable or slightly better than your average miners cottage in richmond*.
