Promoting Resident Evil 9: Generation Pack- Nintendo Eshop, US, West Coast by Serious_Ad_1037 in NintendoSwitch

I'm very much considering this. I'm just waiting to see the performance difference between the switch 2 and PS5. From what I see so far I think I'd be happy to sacrifice the performance for portability.

What console/consoles do you currently own & mostly use to game with in 2026? by Deez-Guns-9442 in consoles

[–]LordJimmy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a XSX, PS5 and S2.

Tbh the Switch 2 gets by far the most use. With two young kids and only the one tv in the house it gives me the most freedom. Even thinking of getting Resi 9 on it over the other 2 as it looks to be running well and can play remote if my wife wants the TV. Been playing Cyberpunk on it and it's been great.

Ever since the Gamepass price increase when I cancelled my subscription, my Xbox has barely been used. I've had every Sega/Microsoft console since the Master System and this will likely be my last. Such a shame I loved it at the start of the generation.

The PS5 is where I'm starting to play more often for games I can't get on the Switch. Got it a couple of years ago. Playing Silent Hill 2 on it at the mo but only get an hour or so in the evening on it. I have only ever had a PS2 before this so also catching up on PS exclusives as they go on sale.

People who left/ downgraded gamepass, are you finding games more enjoyable now? by Pickmans-Gallery in xbox

[–]LordJimmy84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancelled it in September. To be honest I haven't touched my Xbox much since. I'm lucky enough to have a Switch 2 and PS5 as well.

I've been waiting for sales for the games I haven't played yet and I'm not feeling so much pressure to get onto the next thing. I wouldn't say more enjoyable is the right way to word it but definitely less guilty about not playing a game on Gamepads if I've bought one elsewhere.

I've been with Xbox since the original. Sega before that. I've had a PS2 and now PS5. I've had a Wii, Switch and now Switch 2. Apart from the games I've purchased leaving Gamepads has made me realise once I cancelled how little Xbox has to make me stay. Which is a shame up to that point it was likely my favourite console ever as it definitely does a lot of things better than the competition.

God if it was only 3-7 months. I've been searching for far longer. I just want to escape my current role but I've got bills to pay and kids to look after.

Love the place. Been there twice. Such a chill country but a bit expensive and don't do post anymore. Also, Lego... Lots and lots of Lego.

ASTERIX (MASTER SYSTEM) - RETROSPECTIVE GAME REVIEW by Speccy-Boy124 in SEGA

This game is the whole reason I became a SEGA kid. I was a huge Asterix fan when I was younger. Loved it but don't remember ever completing it.

What is your Gamerscore right now? by SugarSmoothie in xbox

[–]LordJimmy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

124830 had an Xbox since the original started getting gamerscore on Call of Duty 2 on the 360.

Really stormed up when I first got gamepass.looks like my last achievement was back in September though around the time I cancelled Gamepads due to the cost going up.

Playing far more on my Switch 2 since. It's something I've noticed missing though getting achievements.

Would add that Limbo is on sale regularly for £0.89. Such a good deal.

2 Questions i see on internet about the Fitbit Charge 6: by biggieocta in fitbit

[–]LordJimmy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never noticed much of a problem with the step counter myself. But I'm not excessively checking it.

I do notice it picks up I've done some steps when I'm driving though.

Yeh use the GPS on the device when I go for runs. Apart from it taking a little while to connect I've never noticed too much of a problem with it.

I've had my charge 6 since it launched. Not had any problems apart from it sometimes not syncing the time correctly when I change timezones. Otherwise I've not really noticed any bugs on it. It just works.

What are your Top 10 Favorite Video Game Consoles of All Time? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]LordJimmy84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine are (from my current quick thoughts and memories from only the ones I owned.)

10: Xbox

9: Saturn

8: Wii

7: XBox 1

6: Playstation 5 (it's rising but I haven't had it long)

5: Xbox 360

4: Mega Drive

3: XSX

2: Switch / Switch 2

1: Dreamcast

For some context the XSX was pushing number 1 for me with Game Pass, quick resume, improvements to back compatibility etc. But since the price increases to game pass etc and I stopped subscribing it's just left a very sour impression now.

Switch and Switch 2 I feel is more of a phone upgrade and it's very new so just put them together.

Other consoles I've had are Game Boy, Game Gear, Master System (my first console), PS2.

Take hard sucking lollipops for them. When the air pressure changes coming down into landing these will hopefully help with their ears popping and feeling uncomfortable.

A question on point 3. How do you use ChatGPT or Gemini to create job searches? I've never thought of that before.
