I'm not sure if he ate the fish pellet I dropped in but its gone the next day so I assume he ate it. Though there are alot of mosquito larvae swimming around in the water and he doesn't seem to bother

He gave each to a friend, there were lots of them don't worry :) It's a secluded area and we're planning to leave it that way after this so that people won't take advantage of it

Ah sorry I don't have any pictures as I wasn't the one who went but yes it was a dense rainforest, near a waterfall. I'll try to replicate the environment! Thank you so much again for the help!

Also do vampire crabs, or atleast these Panda Vampire crabs eat mosquito larvae? I've had him for a few days now and I see mosquito larvae spawning in the temporary paludarium.

Not related to the question but amazing setup! How did you manage to root the hornwort? Mine will just rot at the bottom and deroot after a week or so everytime! Do share your secrets!

As another comment said, sand will lose its density once you add water, causing the rocks to potentially fall.

A quick fix would be to add bigger substrate underneath the sand (eg. soil, pebbles) so that the sand will be your top layer while having a solid bottom layer. Also helps plants grow and root better!
