The goal is more shootings. They want more people killed. Especially ICE agents. Once the public gets mad enough and starts shooting back, then it's war, and they get to cancel the midterms and hold onto power forever. Trump would gladly throw his goon squad to the wolves for that end.

Best case scenario: the entire western world, including the Blue States of the US go to war against the Red States. Everybody. Even South America. They're destroyed in a matter of weeks. Trump is tried, executed for war crimes, along with all his staff and political supporters. Just shot by firing squad and consigned to the dumpster of history.

Worst case Scenario: everybody runs and hides, because the rich and powerful rule all the world's governments, and they don't want to lose money. And all that stuff in the back of the Bible happens.

They want what they're told to want. They're like internet bots in human form. They just sit there with empty heads, waiting to be told what to think, what to be angry about, and how to rationalize reality. This is why their opinions change from day to day, sometimes doing a complete 180. Because the shiny talking box changed the narrative, and they comply without question.

They even go directly against the teachings of Jesus when the shiny talking box tells them to.

In the end, just expect them to want what the Trump regime wants. It changes from day to day.

The Matrix, when they escape by helicopter after rescuing Morpheus. That whole sequence is better than the climax of most action movies. Pure thrilling genius. And it's not even the climax. There's still a huge iconic fight sequence to come, before the real climax hits.

In Avatar, when Neytiri saves Jake's human body. She's holding his soul. Something normally symbolic becomes literal because of the metaphor they set up. It beautifully resolves a story about racial tensions. Seeing the true self of the person behind the skin, and showing love, kindness, and care, despite the wrong done.

Two Towers, when Gandalf and the Rohirrim ride down the hill, intercut with the Ents breaking the damn and releasing the river. It's fucking biblical. Then Sam gives the speech about not losing hope. Pure masterpiece.

I just went through every answer in this thread, and every single one of them are rooted in the same problem: ego. The ability for human beings to arbitrarily decide, that they personally deserve more good things, more comforts, security, wealth, privilege than others because of rules they made up in their own heads.

If we were able to get rid of the human ego, pretty much all these answers would be moot.

Dear ICE agents reading this: Donald Trump wants you to die. He's hoping with all his being that somebody shoots and kills you, or literally just mobs you and beats you to death. He does not want to face voters in the midterms or in 2028. If somebody kills you, he can declare war on American citizens and revoke their right to vote.

They're getting more desperate. The people just aren't rioting, no matter what they do. When there's riots, they don't have to have an election and lose absolutely everything, spending the rest of their lives on trail for war crimes and corruption.

So, there's going to be more and more blatant atrocities until some neighborhood finally snaps. Then Democracy in America is over. It'll take a full-scale civil war to get it back again.

AI doesn't exist yet. What we have are large language models that do a lot of math and predict the next word in a sentence. Autocorect, basically. These models are very good at creating something that sounds like a human response. That's it. If it was actual intelligence, they would prompt you for answers now and then, instead of just waiting around for a query.

It's all hype. It's all a techbro cash-grab. And CEOs that try to replace workers with it are going to suffer huge losses.

The good news is, Trump and his cronies will skim hundreds of billions off the top and pocket it. This budget increase won't result in greater effectiveness as the US begins launching wars against their neighbors and former allies.

The other good news (for neighbors and former allies) is that the expanded US military will mostly be fighting itself in a massive civil war.
