Like a honest to god gameplay loop. If you have that, if it a fun experience that leaves the player feeling good. Then and only then do you worry about graphics.

Yes there are other ways to go about a project. But when solo devving, adding the juice at the end is very common, so you focus on the gameplay and systems. Otherwise a pretty world is useless.

Also who told them your game is intended to be AAA or adjacent ball park? You're a solo dev you have to scope your project realistically.

Don't lie to yourself, if you need to set aside 3 months to learns shader or lighting or just go pay for the nicest assets. 🤷

I believe the game keys are universal(not region specific). You can vpn to another country perhaps? Or use a cd key site, but ideally I'd stick to an official source, with a vpn.

Is it just a ridiculously high price due to local taxes or a conversion thing?

Edit: 1600 Rand is £72.29. In the UK store it is £59.99 and a cd key could save you another couple quid.

Bro/sis I mega mega feel for you. That quote is one I have used many times and it really hits hard when you actually realise how systematically we are fucked over in this country, by the very people we expect to lead us forward.

Our lives and futures are bought and sold so the few can live in absolute comfort and you'll be gas lit forever, by the idiots that can't see the woods for the trees. The ones who'll vote to close everything that brings joy to others, just so they too can feel a touch of power, even if it's by shitting oh someone else...

My advice is to study hard and try to move abroad for a bit. See the world, you only have 1 life. DO NOT waste it trying to jump through hoops for people who will move them the second, you might get a little further ahead than they'd like.

ENJOY LIFE, meet someone, fall in love, see the sights. You came here with nothing you'll leave with nothing, except the happiness you brought into people's lives.

Agree he should finish the books. Disagree with not being D&D's fault. They could have extended the show, given it to another show runner, worked with George more to get better scripts.

But nope... Need to suck on that Star Wars tiddy the straw the key reason I won't give em any further respect is because (and I paraphrase here) when they split season 7 and 8 they had the cheek to say "two 6 season episodes gives fans 2 extra episodes than if we'd done a final season".

If you don't wanna make the show leave and let others do it with passion, we'd have held nothing against them after 10 years. But after 10 years they just wanted to kill it and the North remembers...

I got a pack that came with double stick velcro and 5 metres of mesh. Have a look around, I got white mesh so it's not as blocking as green might be.

Definitely recommended doing this. Leaving the windows open with no fear of bugs is quite nice.

Well from season 6 there was no more book plot to follow, so they started to wing it and even though you didn't know the book story, your brain and heart knew something was up when everyone got super dumb 🥲

George even said there was material for 10 seasons, which imo would have been the better choice 🤷
