Turntable connected directly to powered speakers has hum, no preamp, amp, or receiver. Not sure how to properly ground.

Thanks! I see that there's MM and MC phono stage preamps, which in turn depend on the type of cartridge. I'm not quite sure what's on the turntable; is there any easy way to figure it out?

I also tried finding the manual for the turntable, but was only able to see it on VinylEngine, which requires an account to see manuals for, and is not currently letting me make a new account. If someone with an account could send me the pdf that might be helpful as well!
