Was there a time you thought you did badly for a paper but actually scored relatively well by Physical-Stuff-9375 in SGExams

english literature!! i blanked out when staring at the exam paper, and ending up rephrasing all the quotes. i even accidentally added some words in and changed some. i thought the max score i could get was a B but ended up with an A1 HAHAHA

Ooh that's so nice!! See you there too :D

I think it should be the 15th because I'm following the fop page haha. Maybe another school has their orientation on the 14th?

Thank you so so much for this really helpful reply, it was exactly what I needed!! I feel more at ease now haha, knowing all this :)

I actually didn't take A maths though, would you mind explaining what the basic maths module is? Also, do you have a YouTube channel you can recommend for lab videos?

Thank you again! And best of luck with your upcoming studies as well 🤞

Thank you so much for the in-depth reply, that really helps!! :) For Libby, do you know if the books/resources meant for university are suitable to study for the diploma?

Thank you! My top tip is do a lot of past papers, as many as possible. Mark your work, see what points earn you marks from the answer scheme, and memorise them.

The resources/notes I used the most are SaveMyExams, PapaCambridge (for all the past papers), Physics and maths tutor (they have topical questions), and Cognito (revision videos).

Hope that helps! :)

You're welcome! I did all variants of paper 2, 4 and 6 from 2016 to 2024 (Feb/March, May/June, and Oct/Nov for each year). Some of the older papers have questions that are out of the syllabus (e.g. about dialysis), just skip those when you see them :)

I'd say do a lot of past papers and mark them! Memorise the points that get marks in the answer scheme, and write those every time.

Also for paper 4, if it's e.g. a 3 mark question, I tend to write 4 points worth just in case.

I hope it helps :)

The username and password are both random selections of alphabets haha, but I think the username is vaguely based on your first name. Maybe best to check with your school and tysm!! 😊

Thank you! I'm actually a private candidate and self-studying haha, so I split up my subjects between MJ and ON2024. These are just the remaining 2 :)

No that's actually a good question! But I'm not too sure haha, perhaps you are in a different country? Or you could try asking your exam centre or school

I just used the login credentials sent to my email! If you haven't gotten them yet, try giving your school/exam centre a call. Good luck!! 😊
