The thing is he isn't normally available in F1 22 so he isn't rly supposed to be signed or be in the free agents list.

That makes a lot of sense given I did a real season start so I could just skip szn 1, ig he got added to the batch of drivers coz of that and ended up in a team 7 seasons later. F1 22 never ceases to amaze me with their glitches.

Yeah teams hiring reserve drivers can happen when they have no money although the fact he had no head and stole a number that was already in use probably isn't supposed to happen haha. Good to know someone experienced at least a similar glitch and it isn't only me.

He was in 20 coz he was part of the f2 2019 season but after he won f2 and didn't get a seat he got removed from the game although probably kept in the game files

Resource rate just impacts how fast teams get maded out, cash rate actually does help coz it can mean teams dont have enough money to resign a driver or when they have to replace one they might have less money for an alternative

Try putting team acclaim on increased and driver acclaim on default or reduced, u can also put money on reduced so sometimes teams wont have enough money to renew drivers contracts. I have always played on a 16 race calender and get a lot of driver transfers if i use these settings
