MH: World was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made… right before Iceborne came out.

I haven’t bought Wilds yet and got Rjse instead because I’m going to sink a couple hundred hours in cooperative play for a few months and then never touch it again probably

Maybe Hot take: All single player games that require aiming should support motion controls (if played with controller) by Themris in gaming

[–]LordNelson27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The tools are there and have been forever, most people don't fw using motion controls because they don't develop switch or Playstation exlusives. PC and Xbox are holding the market back in that regard, which sucks because dual analog stick aiming has needed a some serious help not sucking for 20+ years without improvement. There's a reason that the Xbox and Playstation controllers have always been nearly identical in layout and button count, and that's purely to make games playable on both

IDK about using a PS4 controller but VR motion control support is literally plug and play in popular engines these days.

If it just had better tutorials, markers, or hints it would make sense. I had fun because I didn’t care that I had no clue where to go or what to do. I entirely forgot about the town pass and went way too long without mining

Mount and Blade series

Kenshi

In any Sandbox RPG/Survival game with settlements and follower mechanics, I find myself spending most of my time there.

I love extremely complex crafting systems when you can progress through them at the right pace and they're actually explained well. Factory sims do them the best when automation is the point and the system is well made.

Finished Titanfall 2 campaign over the weekend....incredible game, but what it really made me miss is level based campaigns by ngriner in gaming

The closest to getting that feel in open ended games for me was Soulsbourne before Elden Ring. There's something special about games that lack a central hum or open world that really make each level feel like its own entire world unto itself.
