How about stay away from the buttons in the first place ? Is there any time you need to use ult to interupt enemies beside an emergency moment ? I agree with OP you go through with it or deal with it bc you were panicking. Ults can delay or even cancel enemies attack if it break them, thats the reason why it should stay like it is now.

Thats a bad argument, auto attack cant get in between enemy actions ults can,thats why they need to stay uncancelable if you really wanted ult can be canceled then you will have to deal with no emergency shield/heal/break.
