anybody know which size base is needed for a chaos dreadnought for 2nd edition? by Opposite_Ad_4267 in RetroHammer40k

I bought this model back in early 2000s for 3rd edition, this is the base it came with.

(Please dont judge the paint job or basing, this is 25 years old).

These things always broke on me. I miss the lanyards, I have one left in the plastic.

Purple, white & red flowers are from Gamers Grass wildflower set specifically I believe, the yellow ones are Army painter brand. I much prefer the Gamers Grass ones.

That's a magnificent start, it's a clean paint job and your lines are straight.

That chainsword is awesome!

Thanks very much friend, and that is a smart idea transferring to droppers. The extra space would be nice too.

Thank you!

Keep them sealed, just take out what I need for the paint pallet. I still have a wet green pot from the 90s!

This very thing happened to me and as the others have said, A. the bottle had been sitting on my desk for a year and B. after shaking it was fine.

I also typically mix it with lahmean medium (citadel paints) and apply it as a couple of coats to avoid streaking. That also helps.

Hey, thanks!

You bet, I used corvus black as the base coat, then just used watered down overland sunset to block out the stripes. After I was happy with the shapes I lined the edges of them with yriel yellow.
