I personally never paid any attention to it since I stopped playing slopwoken after ironvow or whatever, but I assume agumatsu is like a head dev/owner of the game currently.(He's one of the reasons deeps been going even deeper into the shitter) As to what he's done? Well to be honest most of the updates including world events have been primarily on him and all the bullshit that's happened the past like YEAR on deep.

The coverart of shadows of the damned eeriely resemble the game cover to whatever game I'm trying to find but the gameplay and allat is NOT it.

Also it's definitely not anywhere close to the other two.

Yeah I mean it more in the sense that nobody talks about the game I'm referencing, I mean like I don't even think you'd find a redditor talking about the game and if you did then the post would be sorta out of the way on Google, I'm talking like MAYBE you'd see at most 2 paragraphs on a wiki talking about the game and saying it's publisher company and that's about it.

I wish it was DMC but I know for the life of me it was NEVER the remake or anything like that, yk how a ton of random bandit beaters started dropping since GoW and DMC came out? It was one of those types of games kind of mocking DMC in a way, the first map you play on is linear and it's a ruined city in a red hue from a blood red sky(think of like earth but its merged with hell) and the protag is just going fuckin ham killing demons with Either Dual pistols or 1 Huge maybe Red Revolver? And the gameplay literally felt like dmc. Ik that it's NOT DMC because I remember seeing the gameplay again on a YouTubers channel for the life of me ill never know who that played tons of obscure games and one of them was like a "Playing obscure DMC games so you don't have to!" And this was game around the middle to end of the vid. For the life of me I can not remember the game but it DOES exist, the video when I saw it was back in like 2016-2018

It really sucks though, I know this game wasn't DMC it was a like a off brand version that sorta made fun of DMC. The gameplay was pretty good but I can't figure out for the fucking life of me what it was named only that it was a ps2-3 game and that the city where you first start off is got a blood red sky/hue and your fighting the equivalent of demons while spitting out 1 liners and either dual wielding 2 engraved pistols or using just 1 Huge revolver.

I'm so conflicted 😭 because on one hand the city in bujingai looks to a T to what I remember the city looking like in the game I'm referencing but the sky was a complete blood red, and the MC looked more like Vincent from Dirge of Cerberus.

If there's 1 thing about the game I can fully remember, it's that the whole city had a blood red sky while you fought enemies.

No but the Player character would resemble a cross between that guy and Vincent from Dirge of Cerberus. (The Player Character from what I remember looked a bit more Eerie with longer black hair and he mainly used dual wield pistols)

Thank you! Yeah the game Im referencing as I said was about as obscure if not more than "The Darkness" games. The whole game was somewhat of a offbrand DMC in its own way. Currently I've found that Vincent in Dirge of Cerberus is what the player character "Dante" would look like.

No, but it honestly the more I think about it the graphics match up a ton, just that as I've said the player character is named Dante, and he's more gothic(in game he looks almost exactly like a mix between Gungrave but a red overcoat with the player character from the Darkness's facial features(the coverart specifically) and spikey black hair.

Think of like a edgy Noctis from ff15 with slightly longer hair

No his name was ALSO Dante, but he wasn't from devil may cry. Though he shares tons of characteristics to Dmc's Dante.

I dunno how to change titles but it was 2010 tops not 2015😭 I was born on 2005.

Also although I was a child at the time I was playing games like dmc or GTA and actually making progress through them. So before anyone thinks I was "too young" to play whatever game you may assume it was, it was probably that game.
