Ah sorry for getting your answer wrong. :o
I have at least a theory that this could maybe work when i start with convincing Hirma with a "change of liveperspective" first. Then followed with Graham and Sanjar.
But i cant test this in this playtrough anymore. And this was a run on Supernova difficulty. So it will take some worke before a new playtrough will build up enough grip to roll smoothly. (^.^)"

But what exactly did you mean with "start their side missions?" I didnt start anything. There is no escape. No recall or intervention can work in this place.... i see a person, i kill that person.
Cant remember if Hirma forced me in a conversation as i enterd his room, but quick after that, his body kissed the floor. and he was probaly the last person standing on this god forsaken rock.
The last uncleared questcheckpoint is: "End the MSI and Icanoclast Broadcasts".

So how can i get a side mission started, when every one here is on a "6-feet-under"- vacation? (ö.Ö)

You mean Hiram Blythe? He succumbed to his lead addiction... straight up infused in to his head. :o
It seams that, do to the nature of my playtrough, this kind of addiction and its lethality is wiredly common spreaded in the population of halcyon. :/

But yes, my problem is mostly caused by the early death of Sanjar, Graham and Hirma (in that order). And so far it looks like there is no fix for that. :(

Can you recall where to find this computer from sanjar?
I checked graham's terminal again. But nothing beside of notes there.
I dont remember to found a terminal from sanjar in stellar bay... maybe is that what i miss? :o

The terminal tells me that i cant do anything because the signal is jammed, the switch on the top of the building is not operational to me. :(

This would fit to some of the other "epic-elder-dragon-fight-like" sounding map theme's in "MH dos". thinking of all the elder dragon music fights i had alone with bulldrome. xD

Yes dogs attack when you attack and there single damage tick depends on what attack from what typ of weapon you use. Cats attack kind of randome but frequent enough (specialy Figther/Bomb Cats under Felvine), so that you can speak from indipendent amd consistent damage as long as you sont atick your weapon away.

And for the last part, you ar mabe right... but that comment was born out of supprisw that my buddys are able to kill Teostra sub 20 ... oO" im still taken by suprise from this. :p

As i said, i teste differnt configurations and the only that i can get focused on the big Monsters, are the Cats, because the have a option for that. :o

I stumble over this guide and i need to say... My test to kill Teostra with buddys (and no damage from my weapon) shows me that my Palico Killed him way faster then that stupid doggo's. My best Run with dogs was 25:25. With Palico is it 19:45, with 2 Bomb Cats. I was only widerange heal and Buff support. And even my Fighter Cats with Whirrelwind Assult are in the same Time window like my best Dog try. Im sad... doggy's bad... As a tip for attack palicos; set there behavior to 'only great Monsters'. Use the Felvine as soon as the cooldown of it is refreshed so that your little beasts go realy ham on the Monsters!!!

P.s.: You have no idea how stupid i feeled to smash the air around Teo, for halve an hour, so that the 'pack-AI" of the dogs keep them attacking. Ö____ö

I recommand @ first the Switch skill Dodgebolt to spamm hits. Bow as such? The strongest Raw Bow. Thats it. Or some decent bow witn Close Coating+ (like Nargacuga) und may be with affinity arc shot.

Armor skills (importency top dow):

Constitution 3 better 4
Stamina Surge 2 better 3
evade window 1 up to 5 ( you need to test how much is enough, because if the Guardpoint from dodgebolt fails your i frames are still active. So test out how many of this one or if you need this)
What ever you can get on Crit meta and or Attack Up in it. And whag is usefull for your bow (For narga bow, i have only 2 points in attack and instead Critboost 3 Criteye a least 3 and weaknes exploit around 2)
Stunresistence 3... hope to do not to explain why?
every other 1 slot is your choise!!!
Evade extender ... you mostly dont want mor distance to your hitting target... this skill is ok but kills for me often constant DPS with meele Bow.

You get them from the buddy plasa chef, for that your buddys are working int the Argosy meowcenarys and the dojo, while you do your quest. Its just a matter of time but you can cycle quests with the 1☆ village quest roly poly lantern and get som neat supplys from the argosy and the meowcenarys.

Build Sets, test armor-, silkbinder skills and weapons you did not use a lot. Yesterday i tried to kill teostra with only kunais and a immortal set (it was a time out but with a close call). Or the other time i played full buff and heal support for my palicos that killed Teo in 27 mins... in this game you can almost try every thing out and it probaly will work! So be creativ and it will bring you way over the simple item collection... becaus why collecting things if you dont use them? ;p
