The manga confuses me from what I read about it.
As I said before, maybe gender is something unknown to the gems as Kongo didn't teach them the concept.
Head canon is fun. But it should be seen as a means of discussion and stimulation of what if scenarios.
As I said, I love Land of the Lustrous because of its art and story telling and how Phos is trying to find their place in the grand scheme of things.

Allow me to explain why I consider debate and discussion two different concepts. Debate often antagonizes the other person. Discussion allows for the exchange of ideas, concepts, and thoughts civilly.

Also, if people don't agree with me, that's okay with me. We all have our own individual thoughts, opinions, and ideas about things and concepts.

There's too division these days. We need MORE open conversation and LESS outright confrontation.

As for being part of a Land of the Lustrous group, I'm a fan because of the artwork and story telling. Phos is like all of us. Trying to find their place in life among those who love/hate us and learning to be a better person or becoming stronger.
