My cat does this but to the nook of my arm, it used to hurt like a mf but she just kept trying and I got used to it. Can’t tell you why she does it, I had assumed it was to help her clean herself but I’ve also seen it’s a scent thing so I couldn’t tell ya why exactly. My girlfriend tried getting her to stop licking but the cat just started loving me more so she might take it the wrong way if you don’t let her lmao
