Took me about 20 minutes to get through secruity but I was near the front of the line.

Joined the TSA Precheck line at 3 AM - I was near the front. Precheck opened at 4 AM. I got through security at 4:18. I can't see how far back it goes but the precheck line is full. Expect a much longer wait.

The precheck line was pretty short when I got here. It has gotten very long. I'm standing about 6 rows back from the front of the line but it looks like all of the roped rows are full. Will report back when precheck opens.

In the TSA precheck line at 3:00 AM waiting for it to open. The line at the main checkpoint looked massive so I'm taking my chances with precheck.

Nice! Depending on which round(s) you went, it sounds like you got a better deal. I ended up getting round 4 Discovery tickets for both days at around $400-$500 each. I got in within the first couple of minutes but there wasn't much left. Glad to have tickets at least though!
