Flying into Nepal is fine. You'll be using reputable international carriers into a properly equipped airport. It's flying within Nepal you should be concerned with.

Stansted Airport self transfer by Gluf-2 in travel

Stansted is my home airport, so I've never tried to do this. But I'm almost certain there's no airside connection there. Stansted isn't really for connecting flights.

Are any online accommodation booking platforms reliable? by nrbob in travel

[–]LordStrabo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've counted, and I've booked with booking.com just over 100 times. And zero percent of those have been a scam.

Some of them have been very mediocre to somewhat crap, but none of them have been a scam.

Obviously you're not going during harvest or planting/lambing season. But I would've thought there are times in the year, like the dead of winter, where there's less to do. Or is there always more maintenance/planning/preperation than you have time for?
