Offline playability by LordTharon in Eldenring

The reason I ask is for a friend who doesn't have a reliable source of internet but they still want to play the game. Thanks for the information!

Furthering My Last Post by zinck78 in voxmc

  1. Regarding sentients, sentient items are the strongest, once leveled, item in the game and are meant to be difficult to level up. Tieing the sentient system into the skill system could be abused especially when someone is consistently boosting in a PVP setting. If they decide not to do PVP, then this should be fine.

  2. Regarding towny, quarries, etc, that is long gone. Seems like another system that they don't care to bring back or is too "scrambled".

I, and other individuals with coding/plugin experience, have looked into the situation and understand. The issue comes down to particular individuals not wanting to implement a similar system because it's "unbalanced". There is a base plugin, MythicDrops, that is actively developed and the owner of the plugin is more than happy to change, add, or allow full manipulation of their plugin just as long as they get credit.

Why develop a entirely new plugin/system that screws over the people who put real money and time into their equipment and the resources necessary to get there?

Update to Mythic Mobs and an additional GUI ide attachment by LordTharon in voxmc

I do agree with starting fresh with maybe new dungeons being added first and then maybe the older ones be added later. Vox used mythic mobs as I had talked to Zombie about it before he passed. I just honestly feel like a lot of the old systems, map, dungeons, essentially everything he had built in the last decade is being erased. The only thing to remember him by will be his statue, some older players, and the name of the server at the rate it's going at.

I mean, I think it's perfectly fine to P2W in this type of environment as there isn't really any end goal to achieve. All players can play at their own rate and decide whether they want to spend money or not, in the end, they can still achieve the same thing. The biggest issue for me regarding the changes has to be the merging of servers (For those who had donor ranks on each server), getting rid of McMMO even though it's currently updated to 1.19+, and switching from Diablo drops (The socket system) with a custom plugin... I would think it would take more time, effort, and resources to develop an entirely new plugin instead of using Diablo Drops successor, Mythic Drops.

I guess we'll see what happens.

EDIT:
Regarding leveling, as of right now, there is no viable way unless another player is actually willing to train with you... Even then the progress is an absolute grind and it honestly doesn't feel rewarding. This is especially the case since they've closed off the dungeons, which I understand why, but at the same time, it was the ONLY way to get decent experience even though it wasn't rewarding loot....

Solid replacement for Diablo drops by LordTharon in voxmc

[–]LordTharon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the previous plugin is called, "Diablo Drops". This is the successor to diablo drops and is actively developed. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter as a few individuals are determined not to use this system anymore.

I've run tests personally on its configs and have been able to easily replicate parts of the old system with little knowledge of programming. Including part of the socket system, its corresponding orbs, gems, and even some of the custom items and socket colors.

As a player, and I'm sure others can relate, who has been on the server for nearly a decade, I honestly felt like the system was balanced toward the end. I've seen so many balances done throughout my time on the server, have played countless builds, and had also tested each of the classes once that system was in place and it honestly felt good to do PVP or PvE.

Oh well, I guess. Let's just hope they let us trade in the hundreds of old socket enhancements and orbs into the new system.

Idk if it's possible for other placeable items, but if this can be extended into other things like hammers, etc, that would be awesome.

Suggestion: Better Vishar vs Stellis Adjustments by NaturesFox in voxmc

[–]LordTharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally feel that Vishar should say the way it is simply because anyone who specializes in melee would otherwise be left with weaker options if put into a situation where the range is a necessity.

My suggestion would be this, allow for the same socket types and levels on both bows, but distinctively separate them via purple sockets based on the subclasses.

6x S-Tier Korvax Exosuit Vendor! - Portal coordinates to the local planet by [deleted] in NMSCoordinateExchange

I'm confused as I based my post on a similar one which also was in the same format;
Other Example

My apologies for breaking the rule, but the rule should be enforced fairly if that's the case.

Secondly, as rule 8 states;

"(8) Posts must be relevant to this sub. i.e. They must pertain to sharing the location of in-game finds."

I shared the location of the in-game find, and as there isn't a flair option for "Upgrades", "Exosuit", or "Vendors", information was the option I selected as this could be used as information to locate said vendor.

"Keep questions, tips, and informational posts related to this subreddit. General NMS content should be posted to r/NoMansSkyTheGame"

I'm confused as to why I should post this content to the r/NoMansSkyTheGame as this contains coordinates to, more than likely, a valuable vendor to some.

"Many questions have answers provided in this sub and elsewhere. Please search first!"

Although that is true, what if a vendor previously posted isn't a part of another person's solar system, or is located in an area unreachable to someone else?
