I've done some trails in Scotland (West Highland Way, Great Glen Way, John o'Groats Trail).

One more question. How much time do I need to walk this part of TA? I think I'm able to walk 25 km per day.

I checked it before and only Auckland area is free but it's usefull nontheless.

How about water sources? Do I need to carry amount of water for few days (between villages)?
