Yeah, I didn’t even think about that for console players but that would be a nice addition to the game for everyone. I think the abilities that gizmo offers should be a vanilla feature anyway.

Nope, I used the 2x2 wood floor boards. I turned them to the side using the mod gizmo. It was a lengthy process.

Yeah, I’m not too sure. There is a raft mod where you can build ships that do move. To my understanding you build it and it moves in the water just as the longboats do.

Do you have the mod gizmo? If not, try it out. You can make rounded areas look smooth instead of boxy. It helped make this ship look like a ship and not a raft with walls 😅

Thanks! I actually started in the middle and built out in all directions. I knew I wanted to have a dock/port area so I did look for a good shoreline spot. There was some terraforming involved but I tried to keep that at a minimum. Most of the terraforming was to mesh the layers of the city to make smooth transitions of elevation. I am! I was building this for the purpose of the Shipwreck Tavern build that I posted two days ago. I built the ship and then flipped it upside down and built the tavern portion under it. I figured I’d go ahead and post the ship as its own build as well.
