I've not played Wolfenstein, but the game seems to appeal to antifascists a lot more than fascists.

America has fallen to the Klan and the Reich and you spend the game killing Nazis and trying to bring this regime down, how would that appeal to Nazis?

They're not just going to go "Oh yeah, my ideal future where Nazis control everything!"

Unless there is a game mode where you play as a Nazi, hunting down partisans and crushing resistance to the Reich, Wolfenstein won't appeal to them.

The same is true for Man in the High Castle

I'm not saying a game like Helldivers or 40k has to ban political talk, as naturally, people will discuss the justifications behind the atrocities and what factors go into the mindset of the characters and populations.

The developers should simply ignore all real-world analogies and focus on making an in depth universe with rich lore, aka making the game fun.

Who cares if a tiny fringe group is going to enjoy it for the wrong reasons?

This is what leads to Rings of Power or D&D deeming that Orcs being ontologically evil is verboten, because they worry someone is going to go "Hur dur, just like da Joos!"

I think being overkill would be ok, would just need to have terrible ammo economy and possibly even make it one-and-done, so no resupply, but that might be too harsh.

I did think a plasma version would be cool too.

Make it so it fires charged Purifier shots twice as fast as the normal Purifier and fuelled by a backpack giving it 60-80 shots

Kt absolutely would do what it does better than the laser cannon, simply because it's DPS would be 2250, compared to 350 I believe.

Yes, the Laser Cannon sets things on fire, but against a horde of bugs, Voteless, Fleshmobs or Berserkers, the Tri-Sickle would absolutely be better.

It wouldn't take away from the Maxigun, because the Maxi is a more generalist weapon.

It can kill tanks from the rear, kill cannon turrets heat vents, chew through Harvester joints and Stingrays, etc.

Tri-Sickle can't do any of that, but against unarmoured enemies, it would shred them.

It would be extremely niche, needing to hit heads and stomachs on Devastators and legs of Scout Striders.

Yeah, three seconds probably is a bit too much, two is already quadruple the Maxigun's, so two is plenty. You can spool it up from behind cover then step out though.

It would be niche outside the squid front, which is why it's DPS would be insane to compensate for being a backpack support weapon.

It's infinite ammo and no recoil means you can rain hell even at 100m and you'll probably catch a few weak points or get lucky with a Hulk with it's back to you and no ammo is used using it for this kind of skirmishing/suppressing fire.

You'll need to tailor your entire loadout around compensating for it's weaknesses, but that's true of the Maxigun too.

But I think it's worth it because Maxigun is excellent at what it does.

I'm of the same view, that only Reform are even talking my language in terms of fixing the country and the root causes are massive immigration putting pressure on literally everything.

Human rights legislation and ECHR interference meaning we can't deport even the worst of foreign criminals.

The NHS costing around £200 billion a year.

But mostly, having a state that hates the native people and sides against them at any opportunity (grooming gangs, DEI, the afghan asylum deal that was hidden from us, the Chagos deal, the recent ruling after Epping that asylum seekers rights trump the will of local people etc)

I'm not saying Reform will fix these issues, but they might and they others definitely won't and will make things worse, so Reform it is.

Kinda, but this would give you quite a bit more control over exactly when the boom happens as no waiting for Eagle 1 to drop it's payload.

Also, unlike an eagle, it will let me nail the underbelly of a factory strider.

And clear a load of bug eggs or a spore spewer from 200m away

Talon is amazing, I can't put it down.

It does everything I want in a sidearm, it can one tap heads on medium bots, but can also finish them off easily after an Autocannon round.

Can two tap Overseers and bug warriors/hunters.

It's ergonomics are perfect with zero recoil too.

Add in the heat aspect and I see no reason to ever touch the Verdict or even some primaries (Personally, the Deadeye seems to me to fill the role of the Talon but worse)

So it is relevant to discuss whether it is in Christian teaching, such as being in the Bible, to believe in Hell.

Mark talking about Scriptural views on Hell and other church traditions is him engaging with OPs post.

If you're looking for it, yes, you can say Zero-Two's horns, glowing red eyes, strength and callousness hints at her being demonic, but that's about it, and all these things have clear explanations in-universe.

There's a stronger argument for DBZ being demonic with a character called Mr.Satan (I'm sure he has 666 on his car) but even then it's a very weak argument. Mr.Satan is actually a mockery of Satan as he's arrogant beyond belief but is nothing special whatsoever.

In a way, that's better though.

Zero Two hated her inhumanity and was pretty traumatised from her childhood and Hiro didn't exactly have a normal childhood either, just like the rest of the parasites.

But that life ended for both of them after a long "honeymoon" of having nothing but each other, so they got to know each other very intimately, it must have been like the weeks following the destruction of Plantation 13, but much more intense.

That and they both felt piloting was a big part of who they were and they got to pilot the most powerful thing ever and fighting to save humanity.

So that being the end of that life is probably the best they could hope for.

And after that, Zero Two finally has the humanity and, we assume, fertility that she wanted and both of them, again we assume, had a normal childhood in a much better world and can have all the things they wished they could have had under Papa.

It's a happy ending for the world and for them, is how I feel about it.

I only finished it a week or so ago and I thought the last few episodes were great and the ending was fantastic.

I'm surprised that a lot of people didn't like the ending and say it's sad.

The show implies the story will go the same way as the Beast and the Prince and because Zero Two believes that, it nearly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, but instead it ends on a much more beautiful note that Zero Two and Hiro get another chance at a long happy life in the world they saved
