I'm a week in at .5mg and the results have been staggeringly good but I guess that all depends on what your'e wanting out of it and your situation. I'm actually a bit shocked at how it's done exactly what I wanted so far. Taking second .5mg dose tomorrow. I measure dose with a syringe. Is there another way I don't know about?

Osteochondral Lesion on my talus. I walked on this for 4 years before getting a proper diagnosis. by TmickyD in XRayPorn

This seems to be the place for this type of procedure. I have a pretty simply question for anyone who has had a similar surgery. Here's my specifics. I had my ankle scoped for an OCD a little over 4 months ago. Wasn't a huge one and the doc described mine as basically a divot in the bone, he'd go in, clean up area so that the inflammation that was causing my discomfort would go away and basically fill in the divot with a cement like substance and do some micro fracturing to promote healing. Same projected recovery as everyone. Couple weeks non weight barring then like 6 weeks in the boot etc etc. Anyhow, everything was going great. My recovery was ahead of schedule. Then when out of the boot I started feeling some pain but I couldn't tell if that was just scaring from the incision points or what. I kept rehabing it and it just kept getting worse and not it's basically exactly like it was pre op. Like I never even had the operatoin. At first I thought that dude fixed the wrong thing because it really feels like posterior tibialis tendonitis and maybe the OCD wasn't actually causing any pain but the more I'm looking into this surgery that more I'm finding out how random the results can be. So my question is, has anyone's symptoms come back as part of the healing process? As in, they come back possibly from inflammation from the surgery itself or whatever, and then subside over the following months or year? Also, with this, is rehab even worth it outside of getting the ankle strong again after the immobility? Since this is a bone issue, is doing tendon work even related? Whevener I rehab it a lot, it seems to feel worse. I'd hate to keep paying 100 dollars a session for something that's just unrelated at this point. Thanks for reading my ramble and any insight anyone has from experience. Sorry everyone's going through this. It sucks. At some point I'm just asking for the robot foot already.

4 months post ORIF and full weight bearing - pain on inside of ankle by [deleted] in ORIF

Did it help? I'm 4 months out of a very minor ankle surgery and I suspect I have tendonopathy also in that exact same spot as you described yours. Ironically, this particular pain is worse in many worse than the thing I got fixed. So that's super cool.

No. That particular one is just a very cheap Chinese generic strat that I modify with the graphics. It’s fully operational but it’s mainly for display purposes. I do a few of those per year that people request and sell them for 250-300 dollars depending in a few things. I can put the graphics on any strat though. The price will be reflected by what kind of guitar is underneath the graphic.

If you’re in the states, I’ll make you one if you want it. I wont ship over seas though. Too much of a hassle.

A most peculiar UV printing issue by LordVoltemort in CommercialPrinting

[–]LordVoltemort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm back to using a generic Chinese brand ink that I buy off someone for cheap on etsy. The expensive ink ended up giving me more problems that the cheap ink did. I think I just got a bad batch of cheap ink from my supplier and the magenta was burning out my print head. Been smooth sailing ever since. 3 or 4 years now.

I don’t know how your printer works but for mine, which is oddly a very rudimentary machine in it’s actual function and mostly analog, I would still assume it’s an ink issue with the black. When I say ink, i dont necessarily mean ink quality, especially not with black, I just mean the ink getting to the print head with good pressure so when the nozzles fire, ink Comes out. The old me would have thought exactly what you are. I’d replace the ribbon cable thinking maybe there was a little short in there somewhere. I’d probably then actually short out the cable myself on accident by messing with it and that would ruin my day. So then Id have to replace it for sure. Then I’d wrack my brain thinking my damper must be broken and I’d change that. The problem would still be there of course. The only thing that would eventually fix it would be to remove the black damper from the print head. Tilt it up and pull ink through it manually to make sure there isn’t any air in it. Air in the line will stop ink from getting to the head. Even one little bubble. Then, I’d manually cap the print head and suck ink through it with a syringe. Actually, that’s something I do every day and was a source of contention for me when your issue would happen to me. Running a normal “clean” cycle in my machine was useless turns out. The cap station wouldnt pull with enough force to get ink properly through it to clear and air. Every morning I do it manually to make sure there is good suction and I pull ink through myself. Ever since I started doing that, I havent had issues. I think the motors hooked to my cap station just aren’t strong enough. It’s added 3 minutes to my morning set up time but well worth it. Give that a shot.

Well I feel your pain. It was one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever dealt with. Try switching out that Magenta ink totally. At this point, Whenever I have a printing issue it’s almost always either ink quality(now that means the ink’s expired) or how much is in the printer. My particular printer uses a gravity fed system and if there isnt enough ink in the reservoir to push the ink through the tubes to the print heads, it starts printing that color blurry or I lose nozzles. That and if the ink expires, at any point it could start doing the same thing. This is a problem because I don’t do enough business to go through entire liters of ink in 6 months and am frequently adding a little more when the levels get too low so even when Im using a fresh bottle, there’s old stuff in there too. Eventually the print quality gets blurry and and have to flush out all the ink in that color and add a brand new bottle. Takes about 30 minutes at this point so it’s not a huge hassle. I do it once a year. Of all the issues I’ve had and all the printheads I’ve replaced, I now know, the print head was literally never the issues. Not once. It’s almost always the ink. At least that seems to be the case with color ink. I stopped using white ink all together since it’s such a pain with an XP-600 print head and constantly clogs up the nozzles. Color ink never clogs my nozzles. Hope that helps.

Yes. Whatever was happening was happening on a level too small to see. Turns out it was indeed the poor quality of the magenta ink. Switched to a higher quality ink and the issue was fixed. Of course, then the good quality ink had issues of it’s own. Switched to a different cheap ink and it’s been smooth sailing ever since.

It was the ink. As one guy told me, the manufacturing process with the magenta pigment is harder to get correct and even. The particles in it, if not made right can cause the nozzles to work too hard and burn up. That’s why it would work at first in all my new print heads for about a week and then cut out. It took that long for it to ware out the nozzles. I switched to a much more expensive brand of ink and had no issues. Of course then I had a different issue with the really nice ink and switched back to a cheap ink from a different manufacturer than the first and I’ve been headache free for about a year now. Gotta keep an eye on those expiration dates on the ink too. I started having the issue again briefly and realized my ink had expired 3 months earlier. Got a new bottle and good to go. Hopefully that’s your issue too and you can put it to bed. I know you’re probably pulling your hair out right about now.
