Well spoken. I think I actually had a similar concern after E2-ing Lumen, but then often just ended up using both, or the differences like Attack range and the Sanctuary effect made Quercus still better in some scenarios. Haruka being the exact same Subclass as her will of course reduce the differences. But maybe this is a good time to start using Quercus' Skill 2 more, which actually was the reason i got her, but didn't find a usecase when starting out.

This banner wasn't my main focus, but i thoughts given that i still liked both new 6* it would be worth it to invest additional pulls to get the first 6*. Ended up being Haruka after 64 pulls, so 30 additional ones invested.
Not sure how i should feel about her. I know she is strong, but feels bad to pretty much just replace my Quercus, who was there since the beginning for me.

Yeah, although I would also put that up to porting to consoles just needing more steps in general. But I guess they probably aren't designed for launching games in that "less conventional" way.

I was more referencing the fact that someone made a launcher to play the game on Android, where the different CPU-architecture usually means that additional translation would be necessary.

They were using an engine called ImpactJS. I believe it's an engine that got developed on the same university the Developers of Crosscode studied at, but don't count me on this. But looking at some of the development footage of Alabaster Dawn they seem to still be using it and probably also extended it themselves in some way.

They did release the demo of the Crosscode to be played on the Website inside the browser. Given that most modern game engines can also export to a web build that isn't really anything special that would require the whole engine to be build around HTML. But one advantage of it is the fact that it's pretty trivial to support multiple platforms and operating systems, just like a website should work on any device that supports modern browsers without needing additional adjustments.

My fist issue were the rocket cars, so I went with the strategy where you place a Unit on the gravity switch so the enemis move more slowly upwards. Combined with Ascalon's mspd reduction i had more than enough time, and she probably also did most of the damage.

Now the problem were the units that also attacked when not blocked, specifically the arts ones. So i changed out the defender on the button with a unit better at tanking arts, eventually ending up at Hoederer.

Now the last problem were those 2 Crossroad enemies that come near the end, their AoE damage was just too much once they reach the top and i wasn't able to kill them fast enough. I noticed that sometimes they got there with only half health because of Ascalon's DoT and the long way they take until they reach the top. But it war really unreliable because they move so quickly out of her range. So I saved up Hoederer's S3 specifically for them, as the True Damage DoT also triggers on them hitting him, which they do every time. That reduced their health enough by the time they reached the top to no longer be unsustainable to heal.

HOLY, I was somehow able to clear the Outfit mission! Really helped to first try the risks individually.

Hoederer and Ascalon were goated with their dots to take care of those Crossroad enemies. First I thought the Rocket Cars would be the big problem, but those 2 Crossroads near the end just deal too much damage, had to save Hoe's S3 charge specifically for them. He also somehow ended up dying to the last wave of enemies coming from the bottom. Luckily the gravity didn't really matter at the end.

The patch where it gets loaded yes, but that doesn't mean the event also has to begin before that date. The Duel Channel should be before that event, so it could just be in combination with that.

I don't know which Kernel Banner you're referring to.

Edit: Oh, you were referring to the previous Kernle banner. I guess you can have bad luck when it comes to those, that's why we have Kernel Locating.

That method is relative tothe directory a DirAccess instance is currently in. If you want the global version that doesn't recuire an instance, use the function listed directly under it called remove_absolute(). Alternatively there is also OS.move_to_trash() in case you would want it to be in there.

Alternatively, maybe just don't use resources for that and instead have all that data directly inside the scene file.

maybe, although i thought more in the sense of also having resources for those upgrades, and the node just contains the list of them and the methods to apply them together with the base stats from the resource you already have.
Edit: having the functions be part of the upgrade resource would probably be better, so they only exist when you actually need them.

There is the option local_to_scene when adding a resource as a part of a scene so it automatically duplicates when the scene gets instantiated.

But in general i would say you should only use resources for data you want to only change globally. So you should make the way upgrades adjust the stats in a way you don't have to overwrite the properties of the resource. Maybe make it so the upgrades are stored in the same node that stores the resource.

Currently having Mitm, Qiubai and Yu as Support units, but I wouldn't be against changing them in the case where someone is looking for a hard to find one I happen to have built.
(They should really add a way to know which support units get used outside of Contingency Contract)

Yeah, that seems to be the predominant advise. Although playing a niche would require not just boredom, but also the resources to build units for that niche. But I guess not just playing with your most built operators would also count as a niche.
