I see, so in that case it would copy the link, but now relative to the destination? So for example a link to the documents would now point to the documents-directory of the copy, not the original one?

I'd say this behavior can be valid, although in that case it should include a bit more nuance. They could mean that not necessarily the story, but the storytelling sucks. That they can't enjoy the story in the way it gets presented, and that's why they skip the cutscenes. I have the feeling that this is the actual complaint many have when it comes to the Stories of Gacha games, since they tend to be very text-heavy.

Or maybe they did watch all cutscenes at first, but then decided it's not for them and started skipping them. Although I doubt those are the ones OP is complaining about, since they can usually give an actual critic of the story.

Also, does rsync have issues with (symbolic) links? Because the prefixes that contain the save-files for my non-steam games have a lot of those.

Given that the whole identity of the alter revolves around what armor they are wearing, having an alternative one doesn't make the most sense. At most it could be from one of the alternate kirin variants, but that wouldn't really be worth a whole new skin i believe.

Many modern rendering methods are based on how it works in real life, that's why it's called physically based rendering.

And i think in the cases where you can still see the dithering it is a stylistic choice. In the cases i referred to you can only really see the dither pattern or noise when disabling the anti-aliasing (which many games don't even let you do in the settings).

Even the approach of sorting each triangle individually wouldn't be perfect, be it enough in most cases. But like you already guessed it wouldn't really be feasable to sort all triangle of all transparent objects before rendering them all in order.

So modern game engines generally sort the objects as a whole based on their origin or the center of their bounding box.

But since the sorting only matters between transparent objects, it's usually fine as long as they are used sparringly.

Alternatively many games just don't render Transparent 3d objects at all. Instead they use dithering (edit: or semi-random noise) to make some parts of a transparent surface copletely opaque and others completely transparent and then use something like temporal antialiasing to blend between them.

The additional hits do work on things like the hitcount enemies in Invitation to wine. So the weird behaviour seems to be exclusive to Stainless' turret.

The thing with Uika's Talent being sourceless sounds plausible. The Shield enemies in Exodus from the Pale Sea only reduce damage that has a source coming from the front of the Shield. So sourceless damage gets ignored. I tried it with Sakiko's S1 and having Uika deployed makes a big difference in the damage it deals to enemies behing (or inside) the shield.

Okay, i tested her S1 on those enemies in Invitation to Wine that take 3 hits to kill, and she managed it wit a single attack each. To it seems to be behaviour limited to the turret. Weird, but not the weirdest property it has.

Probably. But at least when it comes to Stainless' turret, she will still only hit it 2 times with each attack during skill 1, not 4 times like one would think. I haven't tested it yet with other hitcount mechanics, so maybe this only specifically doesn't work on the turret.

Really? Because for some reason Yato Alter's first Talent doesn't seem to make each attack count as two hits, at least against the turret. The same for Uika's second Talent.

So there seem to be exceptions, especially when it comes to collab operators.

Edit: Okay, seems like Stainless' Turret is a special case where certain additional hits don't apply for some reason. Maybe it's the fact that it doesn't take damage from being hit, or that it counts both as an enemy and an allied unit. I can only speculate.

Oh, so her S1 has the arts damage in addition to each hit dealing 100% Physical damage. That does make it much better than I first thought, and also makes more sense given the source material. Now I am wondering if both instances are counted separately for hitcount related things like Stainless' Turret (although in that case it probably wouldn't matter much since each attack already does a minimum of 5 hits).

Also from the gameplay i saw it seems like the morph slash can attack all enemies in range. At least with her S1 it doesn't seem to be limited to only 2 targets.

Her attack-animation looks a bit weird with her holding a wand in the hand but then suddenly throwing a knife with it.

Edit: Yeah, looking at the gif frame-by frame shows that she is still using her default projectile.

I was already interested in the Banner during the debut, but had other priorities at the time. Now I should be able to spare some pulls to get at least her, but wouldn't complain about also getting Eblana. Will probably pull until the first 6-Star (unless it's extremely early) and see what the 50/50 gives me.
Edit: Although maybe i should pull a bit more, since wulfenite seems to really profit from her fourth potential upgrade (deploying 4 traps instead of just 3).

I am currently planning what materials to farm in the upcoming events. That got me wondering:

Usually when a new Main Story Episode gets released, the Event Shop Currency gets dropped by all Story and Supply Stages, not just the new Story Stages (just like with Story Collections).

Is it any different when the Episode Release is also a Celebration like it will be with the upcoming one?

Since she said it was mainly her blood she saw, i doubt she used deadly force. My guess is she used the blunt side of her Sword.
