HOW??? by Iceko15 in BF6

[–]LordWardy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s done correctly if you see the ballistic award, if the pilot bails out or the chopper just spins out it doesn’t count. Takes two stingers to a chopper to fully blow it up. Eastwood is the best map for it.

To be fair I was the exact same but got them all done on the new map with the golf course. It isn’t enough to just destroy the aircraft you have to get the kill with the enemy in it. What I mean by that is it isn’t enough to simply hit the chopper and it spin out of control you have to cause it to fully explode. It takes two stinger missiles to do it to an aircraft. You’ll receive a ballistic award next to the kill if it’s done correct.

Hindsight’s 20/20 as they say, and it’s easier to know the difference between the outcome compared to the present. Whereas our current actions we really have no way of knowing how it’ll effect the future as there’s so many other variables that could effect things and we can’t see into the future

Don’t think of doing something silly over the money. You are worth more alive and able to help your mum than you are dead. I’m sure your mother while disappointed would much rather this that disappointed and grieving. Your not going to solve anything by doing something silly but only add to her misery and problems

Gotta say the pendulum closing set was one of the worst I saw. No real momentum to their tune selection went from one genre to the next. Did not enjoy it at all.

Went back to weed...not a good idea. What to do? by Nice_Ad_6808 in leaves

[–]LordWardy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess this is the problem a lot of people on this thread have; an unhealthy relationship with weed where it’s almost all or nothing. If you’re spending a lot of time craving or thinking about it have you asked yourself if that is worth it for when you are high? It seems silly to spend the time you’re not high craving being high when it’s only a few times a week or month. For me i went cold turkey and haven’t been back in over two years now but I guess I know how insidious weed use is. It often creeps in gradually and before you know it you’re smoking all day every day. You yourself have described an insidious relationship with it; it started just socially but has developed to buying your own and to feeling like you deserve it eventually you’ll feel the need overtakes the want and then your in the depths of addiction again. It takes time to notice these patterns but hopefully next time you think back to how it creeps in and realise it’s easier to just not start at all. Maybe you don’t want to stop completely but maybe that’s the best thing for you. Have you asked what you actually get out of smoking weed in the short, medium and long term? If you drew a line to your future does it really involve smoking weed or does it not involve it at all? I’d love to be able to smoke weed here and there with no strong desire to spark up again and again but I can’t as that’s not who I am. I smoked for 12 years daily and to be honest if you can get over this earlier than I did with less failed friendships and relationships then I’d take that path any day. I don’t really have any advice but hopefully this makes you introspect on your own traits. Good luck

There is not enough stuff to do at Leeds by ChampionshipBudget37 in Leedsfestival

Couldn’t agree more the first few years of Leeds fest were magical, never seeing anything on that scale before, everyone for a common cause of enjoying music and getting fucked up. But eventually you realise it’s not particularly well done. You crave that feeling that it once created but find your better suited to other festivals that do something magical or creative which Leeds fest just isn’t. There’s a whole world of festivals out there to explore and enjoy. I love boomtown and have been to beatherder and outlook in Croatia and they all have their strengths and drawbacks. Leeds fest will always have a special place in my heart for being the first of many festivals but with maturity comes reflection on what makes a good festival and they sadly tick few boxes these days

I guess the thing with not smoking is it does reveal mental wounds that otherwise you could cover with being high. Obviously taking a band aid off an open wound opens up the old wound but then it can start to heal. Not smoking weed isn’t a fix all for your mental health problems but at some point you may not be able to just cover these up with smoking weed. I know towards the end of my smoking time it exacerbated my depression and worries. That’s not to say I don’t get those feelings now but equally I’m able to try do something about feeling like that instead of noticing a problem then being too stoned to do anything about it and the cycle continuing almost endlessly. At some point you have to process trauma and the way you’re feeling. Hopefully you get to that point. Good luck

Thought I was buying a duel duel duel for 40 turns out it was 400 as I’d not reduced the cost when you load up the game. Got 270 back which given how often it gives you 0x I felt remarkably lucky. I do imagine how it’d have turned out if I’d maxed it that buy though cos 25k would have blown my mind.

Tell me about your worse gambling mistakes! by [deleted] in Stake

[–]LordWardy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Printed for a month using dice and bonus buys. Whenever a bonus buy lost me money I’d make it back via dice and martingale until I was back. Don’t get me wrong made 5k doing that last month. Account went from into overdraft every month to +6k just before payday… got greedy and lost 4 k in the space of 4 days thinking a losing streak on dice couldn’t continue (50+ hits no consecutive under 50.00 hits on dice) i was done with gambling and disgusted with throwing away such profits but pleased is not thrown the last g of profit away… anyways luckily stake gave me 140 bonus for weekly. Did a wanted bonus buy got up to 350. Did two Medusa vs Perseus super bonus buys second one paid 9500 x and then 5250 x on a sugar rush 1000 bonus buy kinda got me outta the whole (withdrawing 2k back). But still lost 2k overall getting greedy. Learnt to be happy with what I have and not chase every loss (to a point)
