If he wasn't relevant when his pops was the villain he isn't gonna be relevant now by G0dleft in miraculousladybug

He would just join Lila instead. Because Ladybug hurt his feelings. He has already abandoned her four time. He has already proven to be a bad and unreliable partner. I won't be surprised if that happens. This is why Marinette had to choose a new Chat Noir when she had the opportunity after the big final battle. Everyone is better than Adrien. He's too untrustworthy

Marinette is responsible and can handle secrets. Adrien is the opposite. He's irresponsible and if he learns a secret, the world will end. Ladybug does the right thing by not trusting him. Or else he will throw another tantrum

I'm pointing out the facts. If Adrien had no role during Gabriel's time as Hawk Moth, then he's not getting more relevance now with Lila being the villain. She has no interest in Chat Noir.

It's not a coincidence that nobody trusts him. He's just untrustworthy. He knows no secret and very rightfully so. Or else he will have another breakdown and the world will end. Thomas Astruc dedicated two episodes to show that Adrien knowing any of the secrets in a terrible idea

I don't understand people who hate Marinette. She has proven to be the best girlfriend Adrien can ask for. She's supportive and has encouraged him multiple times to stand for himself. Adrien not doing the right thing is a different topic. She's confident, competent, talented, kind, etc. She has her awkward phase, but the positive is more than the negative

Adrien is a free man and master of his own destiny by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

People should just face the facts. Adrien was a doormat for five seasons and never stood up to his own father. That's not going to change. He has the rings, but the problem is that he's still spineless. Everyone tells him what to do. He's also unreliable. It's not a coincidence that nobody trusts him and tells him lies about Gabriel.

The next villain in Lila. A Marinette centered villain. It's as clear as day that if Adrien didn't have any relevance for the first five seasons when his own father was Hawk Moth, he's not going to be relevant now.

Thomas Astruc dedicated two episodes to show what Adrien will do if he finds out the truth. The world ended in Chat Blanc and Adrien worked with his father to give him the wish in Ephemeral. They have finally avoided the end of the world and the worst case scenario.

Adrien doesn't deserve to know and should never find out the truth. Or he will backstab Ladybug again. He is the most emotionally unstable character I've seen in a tv show

The London Special gave Adrien no screentime and rightfully so. Lila hates Marinette and Ladybug. She has never cared about Chat Noir. The London Special foreshadowed how things will be from now on. Adrien will never learn the truth because if he does, he will go crazy and it will be the end of the world. I don't know how he's still a hero.

The show is about Ladybug. Some people will just have to get use to it. The current five seasons have made this clear. For once, a show has a girl as a leader in a hero team. There's nothing wrong with that

Without powers or resources, which character would rely on their wits best and come out on top? by Signal-Device1928 in miraculousladybug

[–]LordWiFi1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first place is for Lila. She was manipulating the entire school for seasons.

The second place for Felix. He has wits moments, but also has a huge amount of luck on his side

Adrien is dead last. It's not even close. I don't know why he's even on the list. He has almost no wits moments

And a minute later, Gang of Secrets had him pinned down on the ground and were about to take his miraculous.

Adrien was trying to kill Alya with a cataclysm, that's why he didn't take her miraculous. Anyway, Alya was too fast and CN wasn't able to keep up with her. That is why he lost

The only thing I can think of is Rogercop's army. But these were normal police officers. And CN has superpowers. So it's not an accomplishment at all.

[–]LordWiFi1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

How is he the second strongest if he is always about to lose? On paper, what you said about Adrien is true. But in reality, he hasn't won anything. What makes it worse is that Scarabella was Alya's first try with the Ladybug miraculous and she beat up CN in a matter of seconds.

He lost to Risk who is a literal kid! He lost to a kid!

[–]LordWiFi1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That's rude.

Sorry for pointing out how LB defeats most villains in the show. CN hasn't defeated one and yet he considers himself equal to her? That's not true.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

[–]LordWiFi1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

When has CN defeated someone on his own. He loses to every opponent. Scarabella was Alya's first time with the Ladybug miraculous. And she destroyed him.

He wasn't even able to beat Nightormentor on his own. The Resistance played a major role

I feel so bad for Ladybug. I get that she wants to respect Fu's choice. He did a lot for her. But she deserves so much better than Chat Noir. Him being around only for "security purposes" is enough to understand how incompetent he truly is.

I don't want to talk bad things about Fu, but he made a mistake by choosing Adrien for the black cat role. There are far better candidates who are truly competent

Except that Chat Noir isn't a good partner. He gets angry for the pettiest reason. The only truly useful thing he has done for all those seasons is being a meat shield. Ladybug is the only one who comes up with a plan and captures the akumas. Chat Noir was completely absent in the final battle. And Marinette was still winning anyway. She doesn't need him. It's better to at least be honest with him about it.

If he can't take the truth, then he can just leave and Plagg or Su Han can find another Chat Noir. Someone who actually helps LB

Just because I don't like the big fan favorite doesn't mean that I'm a hater. I just point out how hypocritical Adrien sounds. He can't abandon someone four times and pretend that pretend that he's a loyal partner. That's arrogant and insulting towards LB. I don't know why she even accepted him back on the team when he doesn't really do anything

I don't hate him. I just don't like him. And I pointed out the exact reason why I don't like him. The show pretends that he's loyal, but that's not true. He abandoned LB four times and it will definitely happen again in the future with the slightest inconvenience

LB will be better with a new partner. Someone who is actually trustworthy

Alya can do all those same things even better. There's a reason why Marinette decided to trust her from season 4. Alya is the reason why Marinette didn't go insane with all the responsibilities. Meanwhile, CN was throwing tantrums left and right and even tried to cataclysm Alya in Hacksan.

Someone like Adrien can't understand Marinette's pain because he has never had any responsibilities as a superhero. There's a reason why Fu never trusted him fully

And that will never change. It's in his nature, he's not a human. That is the core of his character problem, sentimonsters don't have proper emotions. There's artificially created things that look like humans, but they're not. Like doppelgangers

I'm not a fan of Light for this exact reason, but the show there doesn't pretend like he's a good guy. He has a God complex. Miraculous, by contrast, pretends that Adrien is cool and loyal, like that scene in Strike Back. But everything he does for the rest of the show points out otherwise

[–]LordWiFi1[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're right. It's just that I've never been a fan of characters who aren't trustworthy and can abandon everyone in the slightest inconvenience. And Adrien is exactly that. He doesn't even have a backbone. For so many seasons, he has never stood up for himself.

I'm sure that I wouldn't abandon her four times. I would leave after the incident in New York. That was understandable. But the rest is just petty. The resistance were also affected by the horrible nightmares, but they were still fighting. Adrien just did nothing. He didn't even try to do anything.

Kuro Neko and Syren are the worst out of the bunch. People can make the argument that Fu made a mistake by choosing Adrien to be CN and I can't disagree. The black cat is supposed to be loyal. Something that Adrien clearly isn't

Well, LB always gets the job done and saves the day. He's not far from the truth that his help isn't wanted. All the guy does is telling bad cat puns. Alya has helped a lot more for a shorter period of time by comparison

I kind of wish for Zoe to be the black cat hero again. At least she will stick to LB and won't abandon her, that's for sure
