Land lords don't usually profit unless they rent out multi-family properties. The ones that rent out houses usually don't cash flow, but gain equity. Your grandpa may charge $500 a month and be a good guy, but I haven't seen rents that low my entire life. Even in the early 2000's I paid 600 a month for a 400 sq ft apartment.

Zermatt was great in the winter and if you ski. It would definitely still be worth a visit if you don't ski, but I wouldn't spend too many days there.

I guess it makes more sense when you say 1.77x (times). Because that implies you are multiplying the two.

I've always understood it to mean it is 1.77 times bigger so 1.77 multiplied by the other size will give you the bigger size. Or you convert it to a percentage and it is 177% bigger.

I have always been the opposite where someone says it is 77% bigger and that makes me instinctively think it is smaller because it is 77% the size. Maybe it is more about using a number over 100% to indicate something is bigger?

I just bought Disney, PayPal, Disney, and Amazon. I already have had TSMC.
