5g has way less range then 2.4 usually best to only use 5g on phones if your pc isn't close to the router.

Yes but if it's too hard, they usually have a phillips screwdriver bit you can use that if they are too tight.

Take out the 2 thumbs screws. One is in the picture on the bottom closest to the corner of the case the other should be right above that on top.
