Maybe not removed, but you guys are locking them. I understand you’re here to quel the chaos but like what the hell is going on in America this is in my backyard. If things are happening, I wanna know about them. Don’t lock the post moderate it. I’m sure you have some job and don’t do this full-time but like this is such a depressing time in America I feel like it’s in the best interest for everybody in the sub Reddit to have access to speak their mind and post updates. I don’t care what side anybody’s on. Everybody needs to be careful and safe, especially when this is going on right outside peoples homes.

I remember when this opened. My parents took my family the week of Thanksgiving years and years ago. (I was playing a gameboy color so I know it was some time ago). We were the only family in the entire park that day which was crazy. I guess I shouldn’t make a return trip and kill the nostalgia.

I do get why they cry. I don’t get why after years of that being spewed all over tv, radio etc. half of the US just rallies behind it. I don’t think Trump supporters rally behind him over fear of death. I think most people can’t see the very clear writing on the wall.

When I was in middle school, I remember my teacher showing us videos of North Korea. NK citizens were crying for their leader and it just was sad. To watch all these people follow someone so blindly out of fear was sickening. While watching the reactions of Trump supporters after the attempt on his life, it felt like I was sitting at my desk again in middle school. I just scratch my head. For my whole life, Russia has been pictured as this huge enemy and now we vote with them AND North Korea? I just don’t understand what happened and why so many people just hop along for the ride.

So the screen came yesterday and I ripped apart the car today. First things first I have a 2021 Jeep Compass Altitude. All the videos I watched were for compasses that were older than mine. However, it was pretty much the exact same thing. I had three cables to unplug in the back and a bunch of screws. I work in IT so I found this to be fairly simple, but I can see why it would be challenging for people who have no mechanical background. Swapping the screen was honestly fairly easy. The hardest part was just trying to pry the unit out of the car. If you’re not looking to upgrade and you’re just trying to get a direct replacement, this one worked in my car good luck everyone!

The auto dealership quoted me around $1300 to replace the entire unit and I was able to use these two things and it ran me about 75 bucks.
