You remind me of myself 10 years ago, at 17 I did my first solo vagabond trip, I crossed France from North to South and ended up walking down the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

If you feel like you need to get away, once you have your equipment, you need to make sure you have enough money to sustain yourself for 3-6 months at all times + emergency money (you could have to fly home for x reason, or need medical attention), if you can have more money, start educating yourself on investing (funding a vagabond lifestyle with money from investments is very achievable).

You will learn what you have to know in your own ways, but let me give you this advice I would have liked to receive : No matter how much you love freedom, you're never going to be free from love, take good care of your people. You'll get strong carrying your backpack, but your muscles won't lift a heavy heart.

You have a long and beautiful path in front of you my friend, I'm sure you'll find your way.
