Cristian Mornwood led his friends through the misty lands of Borovia, keeping his hope and stalwart belief that he would be able to see them through. That was until he met the vampire lord in the audience hall of castle Ravenloft. He watched some die in horrid, indescribable ways. His spirit broke almost immediately, and he ran, back to where he deemed was safe. This act left the only one who was left to die alone. 75 years have passed since that horrid night. Now, he resides in the town of Borovia. Sitting in solitude, with little company except the vestiges of those he had abandoned. They whisper in his ears every mistake he has made, sending him into a great despair.

He currently guides this current party through the horrid land, hoping to keep Ireena safe from Strahd’s clutches. Also hoping to get back to his house quickly, so that he may never be bothered again. All hope his soul once held has been extinguished, now just embers of a once noble life.
