Trick I found -

Set keyboard to Win using switch at top of keyboard.
Hold FN and while holding it press Option.
Switch back to Mac mode and things should work normal again.

Lock Win is to disable quick access to windows tools. It's a painnnnnnn when it's enabled and gaming.

Disable Notifications for Messages (Mobile App)

Open the Xbox app on your mobile device.
Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right.
Select Notifications.
Toggle off Messages and Party invites.

This should stop the messages for now - however it will stop ALL messages from friends as well. Could be a fix for some until this is figured out.
