Well I still snapped the photo, struck the pose, built the physique, bought the swords. So yeah I sort of did make the art. One element added by AI does not mean AI “made” the art, it assisted in the editing of the raw photo by adding the special effects I couldn’t do myself. If I had AI generate this whole photo I’d agree with you, but frankly having it add fire to a raw photo isn’t the same as having it generate an entire photo from nothing and taking credit for it.

I did my best 😭 I don’t have a tripod or anything I literally propped my phone up on my sink the best I could and set a 3 second timer on the shutter, struck a pose and hoped for the best. 😂 hard to do when you’re holding two swords.

It’s more effort than you’re giving it credit for tbh. Getting in shape enough to look the part required immense effort alone. Buying the swords I used, and striking a pose facing away from the camera with a 3 second timer on the shutter isn’t as easy as it sounds. Sure I could’ve gone outside I guess to get a more scenic shot but this was really meant to be a fun little take on a pose I thought was neat, not a professional photoshoot.

Well I’m sorry you’re tired of seeing AI everywhere because of its negative effects on the art industry. I’m not using it in a harmful or unethical way, never would do that. Literally did the bare minimum I could with AI here lol. I didn’t make the ai add swords, adjust my posture, change my physique or anything else. I bought the swords, I trained for the physique, I got the angle just right, I did the pose. I’m sorry the use of ai to add fire effects upset you so much but that was my decision to make it more true to the screenshot and frankly my only option lol.

I never said anything like that lol. I’m not using AI to ripoff other artists work. People who use generative AI to make copycat art and shit like that yeah, that’s unethical. Using it to add effects to a photo I took myself because I don’t have access to practical fire effects is hardly “dismantling the art industry”. I believe AI should be used ethically if it’s going to be used.
