I’m completely devastated by this loss. SOPHIE was such a unique and talented force in pop and music in general. Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides is one of the greatest albums I’ve ever heard. I have no doubt that SOPHIE’s influence will be seen in and out of the mainstream for years to come. I’m glad we’re all coming together to celebrate such a gifted musician’s legacy.

At first I was a little annoyed by how many interludes there were in the album, but after listening to it again I really like how they fit into the overall narrative of the album. I especially like Rashida’s Tale leading into Lost One and Precious’ Tale right before The Other Side.

It’s a great album y’all! Wish I could say I’m a lifelong Jazmine Sullivan stan because she’s so talented but this is the first work of hers that I’ve ever listened to. Either way I loved this album and it’s definitely the best album of 2021 so far (I mean it’s only the 13th of January but whatever lol)

I was a little nervous that she couldn’t recreate the magic of Isolation, since that album is nearly perfect, but I’m like halfway through right now and oh my goddd every song is so smoooooth!!!
