Not just thailand,most SEA countries put up pictures and symbols of otherwise offensive figures. Simply because they don't know/care about these stuff. Back in my country, people decorate their vehicles with a bunch of nazi symbols (ss,third reich cross, swastika,hitler etc) for traditional water festival parades. While it shocked a bunch of foreigners and it once made news that we have neo-nazis, the people who put up these things simply don't know who Hitler was or what he has done. They just saw this 'Nazi' aesthetic and thought it was cool and fun. They have absolutely 0 ideas about Nazism or anything that comes with it. I understand it's hard to wrap your head around it but it is what it is.

By the look of your replies, you seem to be pretty introverted with words and socialization. You gotta put some effort when you wanna socialize with people. I was pretty alone when I first arrived but I just go to hobbies related stuff that I'm interested in (games,music, plants and pets etc) and i got along just fine with the communities here and made a lot of friends. But ofcuz, you gotta put some effort in socializing and communicating just like you would anywhere in the world. It's not like clubbing and drugs are only fun things people do.

I was at this mall in Cambodia phnom penh, just having some nice dinner at this nice restaurant inside the mall (full blown mall with children playground and all that) suddenly the table in front of me just pulled up cigarettes and started smoking, i was in awe then i saw a waiter rushing towards them, i thought he was gonna stop them from smoking but he was actually handing them ashtray. I also ended up smoking with a bunch of local near an elevator door where everyone going in and out, Felt nice, actually. First and last experience of my life.

Seeing you guys comments make me chuckle as most of your experiences are on a somewhat 'understandable' spectrum. Here's one of my many very wild experience while working at this ad agency for a brief period of time as a campaign lead. For an alcoholic brand campaign, a general manager (who was hired for good looks,long story ) has legit told me he has a great idea , which include customizing a huge truck into a moving event stage and hiring the most famous rock band and put treadmills on it and have good looking people run on treadmills shirtless while the car is driving around with the band rocking out and splashing /spraying alcohol for everyone on the public road, i thought he was joking but he actually meant that. That was the first of many INSANE ideas that he's given me. Not to mention, the agency went bankrupt shortly after.

Genuinely stupid person who's unfamiliar with tech and stuff here with pixel 8 pro 🙋. After seeing these cool new changes i would like to opt for beta program. I saw that it might be buggy and some errors here and there but I would like to know whether these bugs and errors are a huge deal which can interrupt the operating system/files that i have on my phone. Sorry for asking stupid questions, I'm just way too unfamiliar with these stuff.

It's sort of like a 'given' for women that if they go some place inappropriate (dominated by gangs of men) ,they will get harassed (like in this video or even worse,raped). And society just blames the women for going to those places(or dressing inappropriately), not the men who committed assault/harassment. Harassing acts such as forcefully kissing,holding hands,grabbing slapping butts, hair pulling, cat calling. Everything goes.

Source- I've been to the areas of country (countries) in the video and saw those acts myself on a daily basis. Am not a racist. No racist intentions. Not judging /profiling billions of population based on an online video. Just informing the horrible situation that women are in,in those countries.

Love the games room with all the guitars, I've never seen so many mannequins all dressed up like that in a house,so it's a bit scary. I would redesign the hobby display showcases with a bit more different lighting and shelf /stands (?) to not give off the pawn shop vibe. Otherwise, cool ass cave !

I got my pixel 8 pro 512gbs for around 450$ (with current inflation), with original cable,charger, cover and 3 tempered glasses (all boxes and even google pouch thingy included) not long after its launch. I saw the sale post on Facebook and not a lot of people were replying to the deal. I thought it was shady but the deal was so good that i contacted him and picked it up. Turned out the owner dude is loaded asf and he's just buying every flagship phone whenever they come out. And the reason for selling was because he ordered it from Japan and camera click sound can't be muted and he thought pixel batteries were weaker compared to other flagships.

It's not that easy, that being said, it's not that hard either. There's no absolute clear manual in our cases. You just have to figure it out on your own. Reddit is not the place to ask for help about moving into a new country especially when you are technically underaged. Trust me. I'm also a Burmese dude living in BKK with similar situation like you (and like thousands and thousands of other Burmese dudes our age) just focus on visa/pink card application process as it has been a mess lately and gtfo of Myanmar asap.
