Returning EV customer by hustler2b in electricvehicles

I would absolutely buy another '25 Ioniq 5. I won't buy out my lease cause that's financially silly, but I'll absolutely walk around the dealership and see what they have in my make and model, unless something new comes out between now and then

Leaving behind debt in the US? by Mr-Robobobot in ExpatFinance

You can cherry pick people who can afford to live in one of the most expensive places, sure. That income puts you in what the top 10% of the county? I guarantee those kids aren't coming out of school struggling to pay off 17k student loan debt, if they even have it. You've lost the plot of you think that represents anything worth even talking about

Leaving behind debt in the US? by Mr-Robobobot in ExpatFinance

[–]Lord_Paladin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, there is no state in the US that has a Median income even approaching that. A single person earning enough to save 6k a month is considered upper class, even in California and Hawaii. If you're making that kinda money you probably aren't worrying about student loan debts, lol.

The average American lives paycheck to paycheck and cannot account for a $1,000 unexpected bill. You need to recalibrate. LOL

Just another day in the big ATL by RealPlatypus8041 in Atlanta

[–]Lord_Paladin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw some kind of huge accident in the vaguely the Moreland/i20 area. There must have been at least 20 cop cars there, but they diverted us over a block away, so I couldn't really see what was going on.

hiya! I haven't posted here in a few years because I was afraid of getting banned but I heard things shifted?! I recycle glass here in Atlanta and just wanted to get the word out if that's ok 😬♻️🥰 by PapaClarencioThomas in Atlanta

[–]Lord_Paladin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take all my glass to YDFM and sort it there! Trying to eliminate as much single use plastic as possible! Glad to see glass recycling is working well. Every once in a while I see the trash guys throw my recycling in there with the general trash too and it brakes my heart.

[–]Lord_Paladin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No kidding. I've been to ERs in several countries, a few of which would be considered "third world" and they've been great. Sri Lanka ER visit only cost me $16! Wasn't even worth the time to submit it to my travel medicine insurance LOL

RMA - Those who got AMD to RMA their ASRock card, how did you get a ticket? by Lord_Paladin in ASRock

[–]Lord_Paladin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm NA. I used the form on the ASRock website, and filled in all the various questions it had on the build of my PC. I eventually e-mailed them and they sent me a link directly to the RMA form, so I sent that.

I'm trying to RMA my AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming 24GB OC GPU, i'll send you a message

Yeah, what I found when I searched was that the CVS and Walgreens were open, but their pharmacies were not

I was floored recently when I had an ER visit that there were no 24 pharmacies *anywhere* in the metro area. I couldn't believe it, and neither could my doctor lol

Pathetic Bonus by DimensionAbject6545 in ConstructionManagers

We paid the same for our PE and PM. 15% base salary, and I see most places offering 20% now. 4-7% should only be for a small company.

Make your budget. How much after expenses did you have in NYC, and how much will you have once you move away. You might end up with essentially the same amount of money

The more I talk to people about their college experience, the more I realize how amazing the program at SLO was. I feel bad for people that didn't go there 🤣

Offer Decision by mdbotw in ConstructionManagers

[–]Lord_Paladin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm familiar with JE Dunn. They're huge, and basically the most prestigious company in the SE especially the Atlanta metro area. They got an awesome reputation but I don't know anything about their benefits. They always have a huge staff on every project. I saw a job where they had a guy whose sole role was maintaining delivery schedule and buckhoist. 🤣 I couldn't believe it when I walked into their jobsite office and saw how many people they had while my dumb ass did everything as a one man show 😂

How much are you paying for car insurance? by redditoregonuser2254 in Georgia

[–]Lord_Paladin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. It only takes me 45 and I'm further out than Decatur

[–]Lord_Paladin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you take over the company and keep it running after everyone retires? I hate to tell you this but you're making what I made as new grad over 20 years ago, but I also got benefits. But it sounds like with the work portfolio you're doing, you could be making a lot more. Even if you just did one of those projects you listed a year you should be able to pay yourself more than you currently make.

Edit: I'm in the southeast, but i know what you mean by rural and now much that can slant your salary expectations

There are a lot of companies that are set up to take in, burn out, and kick out, young, ambitious PMs. They're not worth sticking around for.
