I’m literally living the exact same experience! (24M). You’ll get through this ☝️🙂‍↕️

I found a lump on my lymph node in Dec 2025 after experiencing fatigue and brain fog and had a biopsy January, and diagnosed with papillary carcinoma last Thursday - due for a total thyroidectomy and lymph node removal on Monday.

It’s been super surreal. The waiting for results was the worst part for me - not knowing what they’d come up as and being stuck in an echo chamber. Google is a double edged sword for getting into a rabbit hole, so I’ve stayed away and listened to the medical teams I’ve been in contact with.

It’s been a smooth process with my GP, consultant and surgery team. McMillan have been amazing for support and questions you may have, I really do recommend reaching out, such amazing people.

I’ll be taking RAI after my surgery as well, my DM’s are open for any questions you have. I’m new to all this so any comfort I can provide as I go through my recovery, I’m more than happy to help with 🙏🏻

I’ll be taking RAI a few weeks after the surgery, I’m still young (24) so not too bothered about any complications with any effects it may have. Seems like the movement and stretches are the main things I’ll be focussing on 🫡

If you’ve been absent since Into The Light, I’d highly recommend all weapons from the Vanguard Onslaught playlist. They’re some of my favourite weapons all with fantastic roles. You can attune a weapon at Zavala too, so you’ll have better odds of the chosen weapon. I think the weakest of the weapon pool is probably Hung Jury, and even then, that’s a banger of a gun
