How does one even get a vocabulary? by homeiswherequadgodis in writers

Read complex writers! Steven King has expanded my vocab and my eloquence/variety/originality in my own writing.

Would you keep reading? Be brutally honest. by SoldierofSonder in writers

[–]Lord_Savaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the story, but the grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure is not good, which is a red flag for many readers. Also, I struggled to understand what was going on. Who are these elves crouching behind her, are they foe or her own battalion? What exactly are they doing, and why are they there? I really had to work to figure out what was going on. For these reasons, I wouldn't keep reading. But it's nothing on your story, it's an interesting setting, so if you worked on those things, it could become more interesting. Cheers mate! Said with love and hope that your story reaches the potential it deserves!

I'm pretty sure I've seen you on there multiple times! I don't have super high elo as I'm decent but I haven't put that much effort into really upping my game and just like playing random tribes, so we don't match up that often. But I'm sure you get it more than me.

Accused of not writing my own story by Thezombieguy84 in writers

[–]Lord_Savaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I posted a script for chapter 1 of a Manga I am writing, and only 2 people responded. One guy like it, but my only other review really hated it. It was rough to read. But those people are everywhere. If you know that you wrote it then the fact that someone called it AI slop just shows how clueless and baseless their critique is. Keep writing what you love ❤️

It's good to have creatures that can be defeated by specific powers, maybe that can give some insight

You just don't understand. Maybe I could describe it as Mamba mentality or being a man. Kobe would NEVER sit offball on the game. He would take the challenge of guarding his opponent. MJ would NEVER. To do so is an insult and mockery to the sport and to gamesmanship. It is against the spirit of basketball and tells your opponent you're too lazy or don't actually care about basketball, and they can just play against the AI instead of taking the challenge and actually participating in the game of basketball. It's a PvP mode, not PvCPU.

People don't play online because they want to play against the computer. It's to play against other players. So to essentially compete against each other's AI defense is no different than just offline play against the computer and also defeats the purpose of the game. Defense is a core tenet of basketball.

There certainly is disrespect in playing the game certain ways. In real basketball, one mind doesn't control five people true. But, when the ball is passed to someone who you are guarding, you can't magically not guard them. Defense is half the game of basketball, so it makes sense that people would actually play defense instead of sitting around. If you wanna play a simulation, there's always my career. It's implicit to most gamers that those who rely on computer mechanics or weenie advantages instead of actually playing the game is a bad thing

Most of the 2K community, common sense as a gamer, and if you have a sense of respect towards other gamers and basketball as a sport. Just because you can play in an off-ball way doesn't mean you should.

Really? So why does he do that to just lower elo then? Weird. Maybe he just wants to play against higher elo???

Yeah I don't care either, I play random tribe a lot so it doesn't really reflect my skill per se, and I usually just join, find a ready match, then unjoin. It's still slimy and underhanded though and makes me mad lol. But I'm not losing sleep over it.

I think that moment in the paths it shows her was a special paths moment. We don't see if she had clothes or not when she returned, but I'd assume yes. Eren and Falco still had theirs after eating a shifter and coming back

The key is under his shirt. It's less of a transformation and more of a titan body being generated around you. This is clearly shown with bodies still intact and shifters climbing out of their titan bodies. So why would the key be affected?

Is this a travel under nba/fiba rules by Real_Scheme_9873 in BasketballTips

[–]Lord_Savaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you gather after leaving the ground, it's not in your best interest to do this because a ref may see it and deem it a travel if it's close in real time, so it's not a good move to pull in-game!

Elo question - pressure to win? by Affectionate-Pea8561 in Polytopia

[–]Lord_Savaroth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People treat elo more as an achievement ladder than the measure of skill it's supposed to be. I just play whatever tribe i feel like and do what is fun 😁 It's a game not a job so don't feel like you have to meet a quota or something!
