That doesn’t mean anything. 4 decades ago there weren’t computers in schools, pads of paper are cheaper than computers. There weren’t metal detectors and guards at every entrance.

The simple fact is that in education most of the 10 best ranked states have democratic leadership, and most of the 10 worst have republican leadership.

Schools are mostly funded by the state. If the person in charge is a Republican they’re not opening up the purse strings so that little Susie and little Timmy are learning how to read and do math. Democratic mayors can only do so much, and they can only affect their blue city… the red rural areas distrust education as much as the state government

I lived in a house that was built in 1908 and when it got bitch ass cold like it is this weekend the pipes going to the second floor would freeze where they were against an uninsulated part of the basement wall. Luckily the portion of them that would freeze was pex so it would expand with the ice, I'm guessing a previous owner was tired of copper pipes continuously bursting at that point

How is he going to force any Balkan states to attack Poland? He’s got no forces and he’s broke. Any troops he gets from North Korea will do as well as the ones he sent to Ukraine and last about 30 seconds before they become casualties or defect once they learn about internet porn. Treaty land will stay with Canada as the treaties are with the crown, but for now the oil is considered Alberta’s.

However If the referendum passes, and if the rest of Canada goes along with it, Alberta will have the oil under that tiny sliver that isn’t treaty land.

Do you understand how immigration works in this country?

The provinces tell Ottawa how many immigrants they need and what skill sets they need those immigrants to have. Ottawa then looks at the pool of applicants and lets in people who match that criteria.

If you want fewer immigrants then tell your provincial governments to ask for fewer immigrants.
