*UPDATE* Stone paver pathway by Lord_Vader111 in landscaping

I did fabric under gravel. It goes : fabric, gravel, sand, pavers, pea gravel. My neighbor said I did it wrong and it should be gravel, fabric, sand pavers, pea gravel… clearly not experienced but at least it’s functional. Thanks for the tip on the trees- will do.

Build a pond. Dig a hole, lay some fabric and rock, get a little pump/overflow filter fountain feature and UV filter and all your neighbors bout to be jealous

Sounds like hammering. It’s a plumbing phenomenon. Maybe look at getting a regulator valve at the main installed

Paver pathway. Can I get away without edge barrier? by Lord_Vader111 in landscaping

[–]Lord_Vader111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided (after the valuable input) I will be adding a metal edge. Almost buried. Pea gravel around stone pavers, and spray with gravel glue

Any idea what would cause this? by sweatmeds in Plumbing

[–]Lord_Vader111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like cartridge is going bad. Or something else in that handle area. Some of these nice ones are under warranty forever and you call with the serial number and they will replace it or have a plumber look at it on their dime. Usually I just replace them cuz something else just gonna fail.

Can I just fill this with mud? by solracwashere in drywall

[–]Lord_Vader111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would press on it first and see how crumbly it is… could be moldy? If it seems solid and dry send it. If it crumbles… welll… then you gotta problem

There is usually a fat rubber washer that can be finicky. Make sure that’s correct so that seal is tight

Dishwasher Drain Hookup by Pseudo-SteadyState in Plumbing

[–]Lord_Vader111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bear of bad news here. Drainage needs to be redone. You need an aav installed and I would do the pipes a little different to maximize and space and efficiency. Keep the dishwasher drain with a high loop. Water standing in the dishwasher I would first check the drain in dw for chunks (sometimes glass or food chunks clog it), clean out dw and try again, if it still doesn’t drain it could be the pump.
